I remember that as a little kid, (that’s how I found your channel) about 40 + years ago now… dad was part of the logging operation that logged the area, good to see some trees growing back, unfortunately nothing like what was there though…. Good luck
I must say this area is very close to the location of alot of alleged Tasmanian Tiger sightings however, one can wonder if they are still out there somewhere given the vast remote untouched areas of the island.
@@taddy83 that particular hole you saw was a little too small for a Tasmanian Tiger as their den was usually a small cave. But you have a point that there still a lot of wilderness, particularly in the west.
@@SleepyTabla-ft2go pffft.. only a quick flight or a cpl days drive, i have driven to Qld and back to Tas many times. Never let distance hold you back from visiting places! I jumped in an old $2500 falcon with 300000km on it about 7 years ago and drove it from Tas to Darwin then back to the Sunshine coast, sold it to a friend who then drove it back to Tas and back to Qld again. I then bought an old Patrol 4x4 with half a million km on it and drove it to cape york and the daintree and back to Tas again. People say they don't have time! You make time to do the things you want because one day there will be no time left.
@taddy83 it was always my dream to do just that, travel Australia and Tasmania, I never really wanted go any further, maybe new Zealand. But I'm in my 60s now and have severe COPD so my time has passed sadly, but I can still get that experience buy watching people like you take me places I've always wanted to go...thanks Taddy I really appreciate your videos mate 😉👍

Glad you got in & out okay. Exploring near the underground area on your own is a bit risky. There's a few holes and the thought of a fall. Well...
The River flows quite fast you’d have to be careful walking around those stones
I've never ever wanted to leave Australia, but damn your making that hard now 🥰
@@SleepyTabla-ft2go Tasmania is still Australia.. 🤣
@@taddy83 but a loooong way from Queensland 🤣🤣🤣
