looks absolutely gorgeous!! oh how I wish I lived near your salon so you could style mine. there is definitely not nearly enough stylists who know how to style wavy/curly hair unfortunatley.
Absolutely!! I have been to stylists who hated curly hair, that is a horrible experience! But even people who aren’t curly certified can be fabulous with curly hair. I go to a stylist and she does all the things and is not certified for curly hair, heck I’m not actually certified for curly hair, I just have curly hair! And the stylist I’m going to right now does a great job. I always recommend if you are looking for a stylist to look at people out and about in public and when you see someone who’s hair you like, ask them who they go to. Good luck!!

This is beautiful. If I only still lived in TN, your Salon would be my go too. I use the Garnier Curl items. I’m 55 and the White / Grey are prevalent. Going to have to get your other products. I have curly hair too. Yes it’s a BAD day when your hair is not curling but frizzing..

I love your hair and your enthusiasm. My hair is very similar to yours in the wave and curl, but mine is very fine and thin, to the point I can see my scalp in places because of how thin and fine the hair is. Can you tell me anything that can help with that?

There’s not much you can do for thinning hair. You can try collagen or biotin, some say that helps. And then there’s Nioxin , Rogaine, and other treatments that sometimes helps. What I have heard with Nioxen and others like that is it will stop the hair from falling out but if you quit using it then all of your progress will be lost. Some people LOVE it and swear by it.
If the thinning is not too bad, sometimes I spray root cover up spray on my scalp if I feel like my scalp is showing too much. (L’Oréal Magic Root Cover Up amzn.to/3R5GRNu)

Can you do a video on how to style curly hair with uniform curls or what to do with bangs growing out. I need to know how to use curling iron or something where I hair does not look like a mop!! 😀
Yes!! It’s my experience with natural curls, that you cannot get uniform curls. These curls are going to do what they’re gonna do! But the more you work with them, the better you get, the better they get, etc. etc. I will work on a video addressing this!

I use medium heat to start to 75% dry and then lowest heat to finish.

It’s a cream-gel!!! I’ve used it 3 times and so far so good. It says it’s extra hold. My hair is thick and coarse and I think this is gonna be one of my faves.

What do you think about air drying curly hair instead of blow drying it?
Hi! Thank you for your question. I don’t get volume with air drying. My hair is not very curly unless I diffuse it with the dryer and scrunch it. This is how I get the best results for my hair. I do believe you have to do what works best for you!
