Canonically ac5 takes place in a technological dark age, so that's actually a laser lance lol. Things like the laser lance and chainsaws in ac6 are too advanced for the mechs of this age, leaving any scavenged old-war (ac4) era tech too advanced for them to really understand or use properly.
the main issue was the fact that barely anybody played multiplayer, perhaps some ranked and that forced clan war BS that honestly nobody liked, since you could just fight NPCs to conquer. Tha min thing that made AC4 and ACFA so good, with was the multiplayer, was none existent in AC5 and ACVD. But The game concept felt more like a "back to the roots" kind of thing with mechs who could not infinitely fly anymore and the mechs being not as fast anymore which was fine from my perspective honestly. The main issue i see was the fact that literally everybody used the same loadout of weapons, aka everybody who did play only followed the meta, which is imo a cardinal sin in any AC game since it ruins diversity and creativity. The concepts of AC5 and ACVD were not bad, the execution was. Truth be told after AC5 i did not even know ACVD existed, but then again they usually make a sequel after a "number entry", but those two games were sadly really forgetful. Well they recently announced AC6, hopefully this will be better and more lively like the old ACs. AC5 etc. were the games that ruined the franchise for many of us, so they better do it right with the 6th game

やっとラスボス倒せましたwラスボス戦やってから1カ月、長かった、、、、、そしてほんとに全部当てにくかったw軽量二脚でUNACを定点防衛型にすれば簡単だったw
