Hello ! I'm learning the game. Got my first win after 108 Deaths without spoiling me with wiki or videos and now I'm starting to get informations. This run was very helpfull thanks for sharing it !
Heyo Alias! Just discovered noita and your channel, lovin it. By any chance could you explain how the healing from explosions works, for someone who is a noob? (havent gotten past the vault yet)
@@fwerper No worries, so basically the mage that debuffs the player ( the hockey mask mage) drops the player's resistances by a flat amount. The player can then use explosive curse/melee curse/projectile curse/electric curse on themselves when the flat debuff from the mage is about to expire. The curses have a % debuff that they apply, so when the flat debuff goes away the % debuff will change the player's base stats giving what is essentially 25% more resistance to the respective stat. If you do this cycle 4 times you become immune and any more than that will cause you to start healing. Note the player already has some base explosive resistance so that one requires less cycles but the more you do this the more healing you can get. Hopefully this makes more sense than my in video explanation and welcome to noita!
@@fwerper Precisely! Note that if you are already immune to the respective damage type like explosion or electric you won't be able to heal off of those so it is sometimes a reason not to take them on a longer run.
31:05 - i did infact buy Noita after watching Albino do sun quest. I think the game could've had much better start if Nolla 'advertised' wand building aspect more. Trailer barely showed few seconds of it without any explanation, then it was all about every pixel being simulated and you dying over and over. This fact was a big reason why i ignored this game initially.
20:00 holy fuck. That is luck. That's why we need to keep researching the eyes
This run was absolutely nuts. Very fun to watch!
Glad you enjoyed!

I'm glad you enjoyed and congrats on your first win, there is a ton to learn in noita so good luck on that journey!
1:05:00 rule of the thumb - chaos in noita has to be accompanied by chaos on stream and vice versa

I know you explained it in the video, but could you simplify it a bit haha...

@@AliasGaming0 Alright, and then once your resistance is high enough, all you have to do is use explosions on yourself to heal?
thanks for the fast response btw!

This game is astonishing
It really is something!
