Mr Haney's 1924 Dodge Brothers Flat Bed Truck-Part 1 of 2-Dodge Trucks in Film History

At the top of any list of the most famous trucks in film history must surely be Mr Haney’s 1924 Series 3/4 ton flatbed from the TV show Green Acres. The show ran 170 episodes from 1965 to 1971 and starred Eddie Albert, Eva Gabor, and Pat Buttram as Mr Haney. Mr Haney's truck is a 1924 Dodge Brothers screen side with the box removed and replaced with and unusual flatbed. First seen in episode 2, Haney's Dodge appears in about 50 episodes up to the last appearance in season 6 episode 22.
In Part 1 we explore the other Dodge Brothers trucks seen in old films. In Part 2 we will discover some odd, hidden, and little known details of Haney's truck as seen in the Green Acres show and in other TV shows.
The DBscreenside channel features video and still images from the first Dodge Brothers car in November 1914 up to the present day.
