Notre Dame has a lot more depth in their roster overall. That’s a fact. It’s a testament to who they are and how they recruit. They are a brand name in NCAA football, Oregon State is not. Don’t forget, Oregon State was missing more effective players and more coaches than Notre Dame. Notre Dame was obviously the better team out there today. Notre Dame earned their huge W. They deserve it. Still, Go Beavs!
It was not HC Trent Bray, it was interim head coach Kefense Hynson because Coach Bray is out recruiting. I do not want to be too critical of Coach Hynson but it was bad. I understand it was his first and so far only experience as a head coach but that's a tough pill to swallow. I understand Notre Dame was missing some key players including their amazing QB who I like alot, but Oregon State was missing more, no doubt. This included many keys players, key coaches, and motivation to win as they have uncertainty about conference realignment and other stuff. These are not excuses to losing but it was a steep uphill battle for OSU from the start.
Notre Dame was missing at least 10 offensive players....4 wr, 1 qb, 1 rb, 2 te, 3 OL, .....i think its safe to say ND was missing a lot of their own , and thats just offense. And they still dropped 40

Not only is Oregon State missing almost their entire coaching staff, first and second string QB... Many vital skill position players.... But crucially they're missing too many pieces on offensive line. They don't have the depth to put together a competent one. That's The part of this that is too big a hurdle to overcome.
Notre Dame also has most of the defense intact for this game and Trent bay is not coaching the game… OSU is going to get boat raced by Notre Dame
They’d get beat even worse if they still had Jonathan “L” Smith. That guy is toast
@@nicholastaiariol2631 haha led the Rutgers of the pac-12 to a 10 win season, only it’s 3rd 10 or more win season in Oregon State’s football history… I think he will have a great amount of success at MSU

Remember the beavs even with Deshawn Fenwick, and Isaiah Newell can still pound the rock and Ben GULBRANSON is a good game manager, so if they can get the run game going I think this will be a very good game, I am going with the beavs!!

That is absolutely not true lol As for transfers Oregon State only lost 3 defenders(none went to michigan state). And we only lost 2 starters on offense(1 went to Michigan state)
"2 starters on offense" is true at face value, but QB and RB are arguably the 2 most important positions. With QB2 also gone, that's almost like a third starter. (I am not arguing that ND hasn't lost more offense, they have.)

If they had most of their starters and HC, I'd have picked OSU, but OSU is a zombie at this point. HC, staff, and all the scholarship players jumped ship as soon as it was announced the new home for the stranded OSU is gonna be in the mountain west conference. ND is gonna crush them. It's already started
