A super rare PV for Japanese metal band Wolf's song Flying Higher from their 1987 self-titled EP. The video quality isn't spectacular, but the audio has been repaired entirely.

Just posting this on the off chance someone knows how his whereabouts, but does anyone know how to contact Masahiko Kuroki?

He has, or used to have, his own website cataloging his solo work ('K-works'). It was a very minimalist website, using a simple HTML format. I am not sure if it is still online. If it is, I believe he had a link for contact information there. It has been several years since I visited the site. His solo album K-Works is a real gem in the world of electric guitar, and showcased his musicianship well beyond that of his excellent work with the band Wolf. Hope you can find out more. Ja-mata.
@@lemystere5345 Could you give finding that old site a try? It could prove integral in tracking down Kuroki, I'll ask around a bit and see if a few people I know can think of any ideas as well. Even Kuroki's old bandmates have lost contact with him. The reason for the big search is that I'm trying to help a record label to establish contact with him for the purpose of reissuing all of Wolf's material finally. They're so close to a go ahead too, he's the only guy left to find, and unfortunately the most important one.

One of the best. Thanks for keeping it uploaded. I don't listen to metal music much, if at all anymore; not like before when I lived and breathed it day in and day out. But, I always come back for this one. I really enjoy the melody of the vocalist in conjunction with Kuroki Masahiko's tasteful phrasing in the guitar solo parts, not to mention the bite of his electric guitar tone in the chordage / main driving 'riff'. Excellence! :)
Awesome! would love to see more official video stuff like this from bands like Terra Rosa, Crowley, Breeze Least, Jewel, Mazeran, Zodiac, Paranoia, Sniper, the Datura, Dead End, Sabbrabells, Girltique, Vanishing Point, and any other classic Japanese metal band I haven't seen or heard--cheers for posting!

That verse riff and the vocal melodies in that specific section are definitely directly inspired by the song Loud And Clear by Racer X. Not a bad thing of course. Cool band!

Amazing! What do you recommend me from them?
I would honestly struggle to single out just one release of theirs. They have three primary ones, the Wolf EP which had great songs like Running Forever, Loving You or the song in this PV, they made one full-length (Some Aspects of the Moment) which had a bunch of really good stuff as well, and then they made somewhat of a compilation of their two demo tapes (Roll Over), it's practically their second album. If I had to pick a favorite it would probably be Roll Over.
Unfortunately all are fairly pricey as they were made through a tiny now-defunct record label in the late 80s and early 90s. Each of those three releases will typically run you in the neighborhood of 50 dollars, but shouldn't go for more than that though unless someone's trying to rip you off. They just don't necessarily show up every day so you'd have to watch markets and auctions for a little while. One of my favorite bands in the entire Japanese metal scene though so it's worth it to me. Also worth checking out is the band the singer plays in now, Black Master Mountain. He retired for like 20 years and came back sounding amazing still.
