Akko is getting insane with so many different layouts like Alice and a 40% in the works. I really wish this keyboard was easy to open but the screw are screwed so tight in my board I can't even open it but tbh there is not really a good reason to open this board other than being curious how it flexes so much
the price have dropped so much i can prob find it for less than 50 bucks rn

i just ordered this keyboard second hand haha. I'm currently typing on an aluminum-case keyboard, and the solid bottom-out is definitely not my thing.
I use 28 g switches, and I want my keyboard to be soft af lol (I'm also using an ikki aurora and love it).
I sense an upcoming keyboard youtuber..

Is tape mod recommended for flex cut PCB?
Generally yes, but in some cases it's not really required

The case is a screw in design. The alu and pc sound very different so it's hard to compare but I personally prefer the sound of the alu
how heavy is it?
It's lighter than most aluminum boards, but definitely a bit heftier than most cheaper plastic boards

Akko is definitely killing it right now, really nice that they are leading towards south-facing PCBs now :)
Their stocks for higher end boards are also getting killed with them never being restocked or having limited stock for a few months 🔥🔥🔥

The nuphy is better if you want low profile but otherwise get the mod007

@@tareraudetot it arrived, its so good, this keyboard doesnt have rgb and its one connection mode (usb-c), but the sound its good and the flex too, this have extra keycaps (pbt doubleshot), have a black coiled cable, the sound are js so good.
if u like rgb dont buy, but if u dont care abt that js take it, the flex is incredible, and the sound is better in person than the videos

How does the switch feel?
The switches are very smooth and they bottom out quickly due to the long pole. It still feels soft due to the flexy nature of the assembly

How hard is the disassembly? Is it screwed in or are they using plastic tabs to keep the frame together?
Hey glad you found this video! It's held together with 10 screws on the back so it's very easy to disassemble.

I use a cheap USB mic I found on amazon from a company called xiivio

I haven't tried the Alice so I can't say but this is most likely a better out of the box experience. That being said the mod007pc is constantly out of stock so if you want a board now then the alice may be a better option
Btw had one question, Do you get to keep The Keebs that some Companies send you for reviewing?
For the most part yes if I like them. Some I give away to my family members or close friends but I'm going to start selling some for cheap soon

A gk61 with optical yellows will be faster by a bit

That will depend more on the switches than the keyboard.

How is the knob? Im thinking of buying this, but im not too sure about the knob
What part of it are you unsure of? It's a simple knob that controls volume, and it's pretty unobtrusive.

@danny lee oohhhh mb. It's not aluminum, but it's more of a glossy plastic. Definitely not as premium feeling as some fancier boards, but it's not bad either.

Since it's wired, it has basically no latency. It's probably a little more than something like a wooting 60he, but I wouldn't worry about it unless you're a pro gamer

It's mostly dependent on what sound signature you like. This has a clackier creamier sound signature compared to the pc75b I believe
@@SimulatorTech tbh idk would this be louder than a standard office keyboard? because i have a office keybaord rn but my friends hear it alot when im calling with them so im kinda getting a keyboard so this will not happen.
Oh ic. In that case both will be louder. I would look into getting a simple 75% kit like a keychron v1 and getting some silent switches

Yeah office keyboards are generally membrane boards which tend to be a bit quieter than most mech boards. Unless you're using something ancient at work like a model m then both of these will likely be louder

hey will the flex affect me while i play games like would it make it harder to couner strafe etc and does it require you to press down harder?
I would say it doesn't affect it a ton, but if you press the keys pretty hard then the lateral movement from the flex may change where the keys are around it by a millimeter or so. Other than that it shouldn't really affect gaming
