I don't think that is true . The left side has different foot work then the right side. Something goes for arms.
The only thing that really changes depending on what arm the quarterback throws with is whether you're protecting the blind side or not. At least that's my thoughts on it. Anyway, maybe I'm wrong.
the footwork as well as hand placement is still opposite regardless of if he is protecting a qbs blind side or not. so there is still a big difference. luckily Fautanu is supposedly confortable on either side. hopefully that is the case.

They’re going to be running a lot of off tackle plays, Najee is more of an A gap and B gap runner. This new offense will have to adjust to Smith and not player ability. When it should be the other way around!! He even changed the blocking scheme for the O-line. Before anyone catches up with his scheme It’ll be too late.
I like Harris. Issue to me is that Warren is also coming to end of his contract. We can’t keep both. They may prefer Warren. I do.
Wilson is definitely our solution on defense, and the other Wilson will be good as our slot guy. I would love DK from Seattle before preseason

Why tho? It's been proven time and time again that rbs in round 1 and 2 and even 3 sometimes, might as well be slam dunks. I love najee, but I don't think moving on at rb (they still may resign him to a long term deal) is even a problem when the dude is at the end of his contract and he isn't a prodigal talent. Yeah if he was Adrian Peterson or LaDainian Tomlinson I'd be with ya, but we can find a rb that has power but also a little more burst and speed that najee lacks
Warren is also coming up on the end of his contract. Can’t really pay 2 with a nice new contract. Maybe they prefer Warren over Harris. I do.

TF did not play blindside however I feel he would be the better decision . As much as I like BJ if he is lobbying to be moved to left tackle verbally & not just allowing things to happen organically (so to speak), I have a problem with that. He had a solid rookie campaign, he had no problem playing right side when the bench was the alternative. What's the problem with going to training camp and allowing the coaches to decide what's best for the Steelers? He's moved around as needed his entire career but now he has to play left side? Hopefully he asked for the chance to show he's the best left side option in which case I really think TF would start game 1 left tackle. I know that regardless of where the put TF, he's gonna smile and be grateful. Oh yeah, and do his job at an elite NFL level. I predict a long and great Steeler career for TF. Hope the same is true for BJ. Love Frazier pick and both Wilson pics. Payton Wilson is overall best pic in 2024 draft. Best interior linebacker in 4th round, phenomenal. He won't be the first NFL player to have a successful career with a second contract with no ACL. He won't even be the first to Steeler...Hines Ward. Even if his past injuries only allowed him 3 years, 3 good/years is better than 8 bad/mediocre/adequate

Steelers had a GREAT draft. Grabbed 2 and maybe 3 OLine starters. Troy Fautanu will be a terrific OT. Peyton Wilson was a solid pick on where you got him, if he is healthy for 2 or 3 years its fine, anything more is cheating and stealing.
I understand why you think the rookie would be a better left tackle, but even Washington played him more like a right tackle than a left tackle. When you watch film, they ran to his side more often and if you look at their right tackle, who was drafted by the ravens, he is more the Lighter athletic good footwork tackle who will probably end up as a left tackle don’t get me wrong, I think Troy might be a better all-around tackle, but it is darn close. These are two potential pro bowl type tackles. I think based on size, they will put Broderick at left tackle .

Peyton Wilson I feel will be in the upper hall of LB
Broderick Jones on the left side & Troy Fautanu on the right side in 2024. Fautanu played on the left side in 2023, but their qb was left handed. Therefore, that was the front side. The right side will be the front side for the Steelers in 2024, with all of our QB's being right handed. Which means that Fautanu will fit better on the right. Plus, as he is a little shorter, it will be easier for our QB's to throw over him.

Fantanu played LT because it was a left handed QB. So he wasnt a Blind side tackle. I would say leave him at RT and Jones play LT. Fantanu will have better pass protection playing right.
That logic is so flawed, yet people keep bringing it up. Playing blindside or not isn’t a big deal, the footwork is.

So who were the "losers"? Title should be "Rookie Camp Winners", not Winners & Losers. People keep talking about Peyton Wilson's "injury", but he hasn't missed any playing time in college since 2021 and that was due to a shoulder injury. He doesn't have an ACL...so what, neither did Hines Ward - and that's why Hines dropped to the Steelers...coincidentally, in the 3rd Rd. as well in '98. The Steelers got not only the BEST LB in the NFL Draft, but arguably will go down as one of the best Defensive players selected when it's all said and done.

Um no way with Sutton! The Steelers rid themselves of 'problem ' children, so they wouldn't bring him back because of his issues. So, with that, I'm thinking Averett and Bishop trading off.

For this guy to have a channel covering the Pittsburgh Steelers, I wonder sometimes does he think before he speaks. Why would you tell your number one draft pick to suck it up and play a position he’s not comfortable in playing. Evidently you didn’t learn from the Kevin Dotson situation or is it you just don’t care. That’s probably one of the reasons why you would never be a coach or a GM of any kind anywhere, I’m just saying. And concerning the Najee Harris situation, they already have a running back number two in play. Do you honestly think they brought Cordarrelle Patterson over just to return kicks. When they didn’t give Najee Harris an extension, that should have told you everything you need to know. I could be wrong but I do believe Najee Harris asked them to decline his fifth year option and I don’t blame him. Now concerning our general manager, it would be in the teams best interest to trade Najee Harris before training camp.
