THE STORY BEHIND THIS EPISODE
Out of the blue, I woke up at 3 am, unable to get out of bed due to dizziness, fainting, a racing heart, weakness, and palpitations. I was rushed to the emergency room and diagnosed with an uncommon heart condition called Sick Sinus Syndrome (SSS). As I lie in the hospital bed, I've compiled this list and created this video to share with the world, in case my condition doesn't improve. I feel incredibly blessed to have experienced the lottery of life. Often, we overlook or underestimate the blessings and experiences that life offers us. Please take a moment to listen to the following affirmations and cherish the miracle of life and all the amazing experiences it has to offer.
The irony is that I was super healthy from the time I was 16 and became a functional diagnostic practitioner, health coach, author, and creator of a podcast called "Good Vibration Therapy," I authored several books on mastering your mindset, staying positive, and living and eating clean. Unfortunately, genetics got the best of me, given that my family history was riddled with heart attacks. My father passed away at 42 due to a heart attack. In hindsight, my healthy lifestyle and avoiding chemicals has allowed me to live 16 years longer than my father and grandfather. I'm going in for surgery next week called sinus node ablation.
