The coach made two bad calls. They went for it on 4th down up 2TDs and could have taken a very close field goal attempt. And then at the end just take the extra point. Give your team a fighting chance.

The COACH lost this game EASILY. Dumb 4th down call up 14-0 & a dumb 2pt conversion I could see if there was no time left . But to tie game with almost 2 mins left & to go for the 2pt basically told your team I don't trust my defense

Up by two TD's, go for it on 4th down. Down by 1...go for 2.....if they dont have a kicker, my God man, one of those athletes played soccer before....

@@ppm_310 They had more than a few instances where a kick made sense. There is OT in non-league games, so no ties, correct? I do get the visiting team going for the win but that's typically for underdogs. They got a giant line on both sides, athletes and more depth. You gotta go to OT the way that team is built and what's on the line(National Championship).

Incredible job by Corner canyon. What a team of heart and guts , they wanted it so much more , and it showed up in certain plays. Their execution on offense is incredible , their quarterback processes so fast it’s amazing, and all their skill guys are fast , twitchy and tough . What a game , what a win , It’s good this Incredible football program finally gets the spotlight they deserve, they are a great program , when IMG usually loses the main thing that always jumps off the screen to me is how much the other team wanted it and needed it more. Not to say IMG didn’t play with effort , they absolutely did , it’s just different type of effort when you have the chip.. great game, hopefully they can do it again next year .

CC looked great, a phenomenal team. They will go far. Did anyone see the real MVP to me, #77 the left tackle. He was playing like a future #1 pick or top 5 pick in the NFL draft. #2 was spectacular and a hell of a QB, #1 will be a player on Saturday's and Sundays, #32 RB is patient and runs hard, but #77 gave him all day to make throws. He had his QB'sbackside covered tossing the 4star and 5 star DE's around all night. What a great win Corner Canyon.

@@ronnelsmith2120 Coming from a Utah Football Watcher, Corner Canyon is the best Team in the state and it's not even close, the next one sometimes comes from Northern Utah, but the region that Corner Canyon was apart of with my school, for like 7-10 years Region 4 was the best region with Lone Peak and Corner Canyon, American Fork, and Skyridge (a new school within the last 10 years), the rest of the spots were up for grabs, for more context there were 7 teams in our region, You never knew which seed you were getting out of those 4 teams, because everyone beat each other, but we were and I would still say Are THE Best region in the state, but because of the dominance of that region 4, UHSAA actually had to change up how the regions were played (or Conferences), Corner Canyon has a free way to their one seed year over year, but they definitely deserve to be playing out of state teams, because IMO they are by far the best team in the state in football, and it's just not that close. They do at times lose in playoffs, but ususally not till they play a team from region 4. So there's a bit of context for you, Utah 6a teams sometimes have a massive descrepency between Corner Canyon and everyone else. (Hope that helps). (BTW I just learned that Corner Canyon's next game is against Lone Peak, So that should be a fantastic Game).

Yeah like half of they’re schedule the other half the play the same teams they play every year. Last year they played Duncanville and they might be the best team in Texas. At least top 3

Corner Canyon defense was the MVP! Everybody on that defense was playing to the whistle so many black jersey gang tackling Gotta Love It! Undersized DL was taking care of business penetrating gaps and staying low . LB we’re really good .Defensive Staff of Corner Camyon did a great job scouting and having a great game plan to stop that run .

Definitely undersized, but well coached is the difference. It's fine to not lay down the big hits when they are a good gang tackling team. As long as one person has him wrapped up the rest of the team will get there for the hits.

When IMG was up 28-14 before the half , inside the red zone and elected to go for it on 4th down instead of getting three on the field goal was a turning point. Take the 3 and go up by three scores. It gave Canyon momentum in the second half being down by 2 scores and not three. Also IMG, how did you lose this game? Canyon was small across the board. Especially the skills. You should have dominated. Props to Canyon!!!

Yeah img is still very talented but looking at their roster, it's actually a significant drop off in talent, they don't have any standout 5 stars like in years past, got a handful of 4 stars, with a tougher schedule they could very much lose a few games this season
