Beautiful car!! Nothing better than a big block chrome bumper C3!! I have a 71 454 4spd in blue like yours but with a black interior. Yours should sell quick!!
Little tidbit in the luggage area. There is a PAN that drops down from the top of the rear deck to house the backglass. The backglass can simply be removed by 2 Chrome latches at the top and 2 pins tjat hinge it in on the bottom.
My dad bought that car new, but was convertible. Black interior, black top. Polished and ported the heads. Loved that car. He sold it when I was 19. I asked to buy it but he said there is no way he was selling me that car because he didn't want to go to my funeral.
I never loved these as a kid, of course with Chargers and Cudas and road runners prowling the streets back then, but I sure do now, I love the shark body. This seems like a very clean, unmolested, nice example of a well taken care of Vette, and hey the 454 is just gravy, it looks great that blue, and of course I love the Corvette rallyes, even on Chevelles and Camaros, very nice example guys, I love it.
is it ok to run unleaded fuel in that ls5. are the valve seats hardened so you can. also the ls5 was 365 hp . the 390 hp was in the 427 in previous years
If you're going to run this car hard and constantly for years then the lack of hardened valve seats might become an issue but for the type of usage that most of these classic cars see I would not worry about it one bit.
No glass top option until much later, 78 79 maybe? Both body styles about the same. Racers would normally order the convertible with the hard top in place of the soft top. This made the car a little cheaper and lighter than the coupe and many said with the hard top bolted down the car was stiffer. And for road racers it was also more aerodynamic with the way the back glass gently angled down. Also looks better imho. 😀
Are these older vettes problems like old vintage recievers do these ride tight like newer vette or loose like a big vagina do they hold road or would have to add updated suspention kit make it tight what do u thing tnks

The C3 - pure art on 4 wheels !!

That is precisely what I want... The color, the 454, but no third pedal.
I gotta be able to dump the clutch if it's a muscle car.
Little tidbit of info, Dalton. Every C3 Corvette was either: 1. T-Top, 2. Rag Top, or 3. Removable hard top. No Hardtop corvettes from 1968 to 1999.
Love it! Want it!

That's a beautiful Vette. Even if it's an Automatic. 😊
Well optioned big block! Great blue on blue combo will sell fast.

That same blue color.
You guys are only $1000 over Hagerty's national price guide. That's a good investment buy right there.
Near perfect need a 4sp in it...I would go for it if it had one

That's an absolute beauty
Beautiful Car ! Tell the driver the next time he shows a car to keep from putting his hands on the paint !

im interested in the car but if you cant answer a simple question, i find it hard spending alot of money with someone that doesnt know their product
@@michaelrajca6043 365hp was the '70 Chevelle LS5 output. The 'Vette was rated at 390hp. Just thought you should know.
@@ghaasl78 ok ty. is 10.25 compression in 1970 ok to run on prermium unleaded fuel?
The 70 LS 5 was 390 horse and 500 ft pounds of torque

Do you folks ever get 65 black stingrays in??
How much do you think an all original 4 speed manual with similar restoration would go for? Just bought one off the original owner.
Really nice car
Outstanding❤❤👍😁
Jimmy Buffed it out 😂
There's nothing wrong with a quadrajet. Poeple just don't understand them.
So very true, the q-jet could be the best street carb ever.
I'm contemplating whether buying a newer vet
Was there a option glass ttops whats tighter better ttopp or rag top

To all you automatic haters out there, I'm 76 and its uncivilized. A man needs his coffee....
the ls engine...stoke that year had.....360 h.powers!!!the 1971 had the most...
Huh?
Dang luggage rack!
Dealers made a killing selling that monstrosity to every buyer and bet they never used the rack even once.
This car will still look good 50 yrs from now: the C8 corvette still looks horrible!
Then when you take the tea tops off and the bad glass out, it's like driving a convertible with a fat roll bar.
How much $$$
IF THEY DONT LIST THE PRICE its because its too much
No, the prices are listed on their website. Almost nobody puts prices in the videos.
426 are overrated. I got a 632 cui. And that thing are insaine😂
My CASH MONEY IS MORE RARE, MORE VALUABLE, 1:47 AND A KEEPER. MY CASH IS KING...😅
