@Travon DikeyI am a Bangladeshi Muslim. I follow Islam. But Buddhism is an old religion and Goutam Budha Atish Dipankar,s life teaches us humanity as like our Prophet.Once our land were influenced by Pal who were Buddhist. And I think there are no basic difference with Bengali culture without religious customs. Yup sure, pre Muslim conversion of Bengal which now includes Bangladesh, it produced world renown scholars, such as Atisha, and many others. Since it became Muslim, sadly progressed stopped, which usually happens and it’s now one of the poorest nations. 😢

On minute 4 on the thanka of ATISHA I see Tselha Nam Sum on top and two heart son on bottom but the middle one is that what I think it is? The cult? Did you by mistake put this thangka or AM I wrong? Please clarify. Thank You for your consideration.
To be honest, I haven´t noticed this before. I have no idea who this is. But if you are thinking about Gyalpo Shugden, then I don´t think so, because it doesn´t have his hat, just some ornamental crown. But I am not entirely sure... If you will have some more info, please let me know, and if necessary I will take this video down.
@@mastersofbuddhism Thank you so much for the response. Yeah I asked my husband right after I saw this video since he studied in Gelugpa monastery college, his response was same as you have mentioned above. He also mentioned that there are many darmapalas riding on lion in Gelug tradition which I'm completely unaware of. He mentioned that the cult will be in monk red cloth and he will have the hat as you mentioned. My husband has not seen the picture yet but I think he got an idea of what I was trying to clarify. I will definitely try to figure out more of this darmapala. I remember listening to one of the teachings from Sakyapas in the west about different sects of Tibetan Buddhism where Rinpoche has mentioned that Gelugpa main yidams have kept changing over the years from the time of Lord Atisha and Tsongkapa, the yidams they have now are far from the original root yidams in times of the lineage masters. So I must agree that they can be tricky and confusing. But no need to take this video down since it has been nicely done and very beneficial to people like me. I will let you know if I find out something odd. Thank you again.
Love from Bangladesh.
We feel proud for him.

@Travon Dikey And You don,t need to research which is unscientific. It is crystal clear.

I am from Bengal. Kind of hard to believe he was a master of Buddism from my land.
many prominent buddhist masters were bengali . Atisha was the greatest of them all.
He was also a prominent figure in Vajrayana, also known as Tantrik Buddhism.
He was born in modern day Bangladesh
