This was wonderful; you are so very eloquent. I thoroughly enjoyed this as I was not familiar with the poem (fantastic title/last line) nor had it ever occurred to me to pair poetry and tarot. Off the top of my head my pairing would be Mary Oliver's The Journey with the RWS 8 of Cups. Not sure about the entire deck/poem combination, but I now want to pursue it. Re: mosquito spraying - this is typical shortsightedness on the part of city administrators. West Nile Virus (I know about this after decades in the Thoroughbred racing industry) is non-symtomatic in about 80% of the people infected, about 20% will get fever, headache, nausea, etc. This is versus the major disease processes from the very toxic pesticides being indiscriminately sprayed, i.e. cancer, birth defects, autoimmune diseases, and the list goes on. Okay, sorry, I'll get off of my soapbox now. But great video and content; I hope other tarot content creators take it up. Thank you! All the best, Donna
Ahhh, Mary Oliver's Upstream was almost the book I picked for this first video. Her poetry pairs gloriously with tarot, and I've decided to save a poem or two of hers for the spring months since they would really come alive paired with a nature deck. 💗 Thank you for the additional information! It's always great to hear from you, Donna.
@@MoonflowerMoments Oh, and speaking of nature decks, I forgot to mention (imagine that!) the Arcana Folio Oracle. I just watched a review of it this a.m. (Soul Dreamer) and even as a non-oracle user, I really liked it. It might actually be my next oracle purchase. Mary Oliver's Wild Geese would work well for Autumn. Just sayin'... ;-)
I watched Shanna Dee's video of it, and as someone who doesn't use much oracle, I was tempted as well! I have her Little Birds Tarot and was really pleased with the match. It seems like an excellent buy. :)
@@MoonflowerMoments I so want her Little Birds T. - I love antique bird prints, in fact I have two hanging in my hallway! And you're right - they would be a beautiful pair. Have a great week!
Beautiful! Thank you for this 🙏🏼❤️
Thank you so much! 💗💖

that we can't opt out of the fog is so infuriating
I agree wholeheartedly.
