Panasonic is an exceptional company with a rich history of innovation. Notably, Panasonic made waves in 1994 by introducing the groundbreaking 3DO CD game console, setting a new standard in the gaming industry. At that time, Panasonic stood unrivaled, showcasing its prowess and vision. In my opinion, had Panasonic forged long-term partnerships with game developers, such as a 10-year contract, Sony might not have had the opportunity to enter the market with its PlayStation.
Reflecting on my personal experience advertising Panasonic games on cable TV in a small Armenian town back in 1994, the response was overwhelming. Viewers were captivated by the realism of the games, particularly mistaking them for actual soccer matches due to their lifelike quality. To this day, when I encounter Panasonic electronics at Best Buy in the USA, I am inclined to choose them, drawn to the quality and innovation that define the brand.

Japan as a country is a laggard when it comes to adopting renewable energy sources like wind and solar energy and electric vehicles. For an island country it is crazy that they rely so much on imported fossil fuels. Toyota and Honda are slow to the EV party. Kodak and Nokia were slow to adopt new technology and they paid the price for slow adoption. The future is electric with renewable energy sources and electric vehicles.
