it kinda cool that on the start his theme was so hard that shows his anger and offence, but closely to the end his theme became more heroically, bc he joined MK team
I like how at the beginning,it sounds similar to Wukong's theme,just like how in the original story he's Wukong's doppelgänger.Even physical-wise and character-wise,they still parallel with each other in the show.Then it transitions into the dark & sinister Guqin tunes, but it has strong warrior aspect to it (reminds me of Dha Werda Verda).But then it became tragic,just like how his brotherhood with Wukong ended. Finally at the end it sounds hopeful.Like maybe he can be someone better than who he was before.Maybe he doesn't need to play the villain anymore.Just like how Wukong changed,he has the same chance.
“Oh, no! Can’t you hold the magic staff anymore? Well you know what that means, there is nothing special about you. You’re just some kind with a heavy stick.” XD
honestly sounds _very_ similar to Wukong's theme...if it were pitched down a bit to sound more emo lol And I'm not counting the part of this track that includes _both_ their themes (because yknow, they're fighting each other) (feral monkies...) the orchestral part that plays during their fight in ep 9 though is fucking epic

@boonAlina .. thank u for letting me know that i am not the only one I thought that, but I found out it is really the macaque theme .. and Wukong has his own one but in different beats 💓. Also, it's like mixing Macaque and Wukong themes together, but it is related to Macaque
Yeah, notice how every time Macaque appears on screen, you hear these two string notes play 0:10 That's called a character leitmotif. And if you watch an "Lmk but only Lady Bone Demon" you'll notice that every time she's on screen, those same 5 scary notes play. That's _her_ theme slash leitmotif
