In today's video, I joined 100 Players in a huge maze as they were split between 3 teams all with the goal to be the first one out of the maze. Which team will get out first, and how many players will survive? Only time will tell!

That one guy that survived the night, found a super useful mine and came back intact is just top tier lucky-unlucky storytale turn. And it makes teh atmosphere a bit more tense (like actually having an example of someone who didn't have enough time). And also connects with the movie itself.

yeah sadly the mine came in clutch for them but not for himself since he died in a different run but the materials he found did help carry the team to victory

The part were quals said “ i told them it would be save in the trees” actually made me cry.
46:43 blue team came from having a reputation of being the most feared team in the server to being the smallest team within a couple of minutes
All because Green were very smart and goaded them into fighting, knowing they could get back to their own glade, but blue would have to stay in the maze at night. Yes it cost Green a couple of players, but it cost Blue all of their fighting power, with no runners who had knowledge of the maze and no helmets.......they were all of a sudden very weak. I love it, was such a smart move.
I think if they had better leadership they may have survived a little longer

But the greatest thing that red saw is the disadvantage of grouping a lot is stupid they go smaller group and guess what they won sword has god of luck to see how grouping is kinda disaster
They also learnt how dangerous the greivers were at lower cost
wow, a genuine sense of loss when a fellow runner died. the sense of loneliness when you came back to an empty glade, finding the abandoned green glade, watching the kill feed as half of blue got killed in the maze. damn man, minecraft is cool and all but i could watch these videos all day. I also love the mazerunner movies so that helped haha.
When he found the abandoned green glade, it gave me such a depressing feeling... That place was full of life mere days ago, and now there are only memories of all the people that used to live there.
It gets even worse when the last green player died. That person was carrying the entire legacy and the weight of the sacrificies of the green glade on their back, their death meant the end of an entire civilization and their culture, it's just sad
The amount of times they make a plan and then drop it for a short sighted decision is ridiculous.
you have to improvise, but it was really annoying how many times a dude just ran off on his own and immediately died without even achieving anything for the team

The fact that I am 27 years old, don't watch movies or tv, and this Minecraft video kept me engaged and interested for an hour and a half is quite incredible. Very well made video and overall storytelling, keep up the fantastic work.

I was a part of the original run of this event (I was Crckerjack and was on the Blueteam), I got executed for joking about wanting to kill the Blue Team Leader during the original event (BTekClips I think)

When everyone was cheering on Sweaty to reach the glade in time before the maze closed for the night, it was exactly like that scene in the first Maze Runner movie in which Minho was dragging injured Alby towards the exit as the doors were slowly sliding shut while the rest of the Gladers were urging him on (and at that point Thomas ran inside).
but in this noone tried to save him 😢

the reunion of the 2 red teams at the end was truly compelling. Just thinking about what the other team had to go through. and the total annihilation of green team in the maze sounded horrifying. imagind the terror during that night.
This is actually way more interesting than most movies nowadays. Especially when Sword came back to the glade only for everyone to have left (probably assuming Sword is not coming back)

A shame to see the slight hesitation in the final 3-4 players running to the exit being the difference between life and death - this was an insane journey that had me hooked all the way through. Keep pushing out these bangers Sword.
that what im saying everyone either should have ran in or waited till day time.
The ones who were killed in the ends were all the ones without helmets. When they don't have a helmet the grievers out run them.
I think they were too blinded by the exit. They should have run around for the literal 4 minutes till the morning, then escaped as a big group. But hey, they won anyway so eh

The emotion was profound. I could almost feel the desperation and anxiety of the players and sadness when entire teams died.
When Sword came back to take all the members to the outer walls and found out noone was there, but suddenly realizing Oni was still there, and Oni like "Heyy Sword, It's me" super chill mode lmao. Maybe Oni has a chill voice, but dude, it was as if he didn't care about being the only one left in there and was just chilling for the moment XDDDD. It also gave me vibes of being like "Yeah, so no one's here huh :D"

The gatekeeping with the runner helm was such a control freak move
The absolute BEST and most immersive 100 Players event I've ever seen, the way they made the Grievers such a big threat was absolutely genius without making them too overpowered using the perma debuffs(Though I noticed how their hitboxes were still the size of normal spiders which was kinda unfair).
And the whole map was made with SOOOO MUCH EFFORT it's actually insane, even including the barren wasteland of the outside world which was absolutely unexpected.
My favourite part was Sword's journey back with Raivin, then the harsh realization that everybody else had left him all alone in the glade where he calls for everyone with no answers, only until Oni resurfaces after mining which felt very reassuring. Such an immersive experience.
Imagine if there's gonna be a Part 2 taking place in the outside world with the Cranks zombie Apocalype. Would be FREAKING AWESOME. Either way this is a 10/10 Minecraft Civilization video for me

They could have a zombie team random people who are a immune and some who aren't, but no one knows who till they get attacked, so it's just like the books
this is a refreshing perspective for a large scale event. The clips of other POVs sprinkled in made it flow really well and it’s nice to see something a lil different on the channel.
I also think this style of video allows opportunity for other creators to upload their own POVs of the event since I’m sure it’s difficult to include every entry from every team. I hope we see more large scale content in this style and maybe even some fresh creators who upload their experiences as part of the event or even behind the scenes :)

I feel like if Sweaty was being punched by a runner towards the exit, he mightve made it back in time as long as he had food to regen health. But regardless, this was incredibly entertaining to watch!

Damn this felt more like a group work and civilization video than any ither actual civilization videos. The way they coordinated a team of runners, farmers, miners was just awesome. Sword and Silver are now my favourite Minecraft content creators. This was a damn movie i was literally enjoying my popcorn while watching this on tv. ❤

This was by far the most cinematic and dramatic video you've done.
Everything, from Raivine's last words, to Green's eerie abandonment of their base, the desperate departure of Red's leaving just moments before you got back, and then the final reunification of the Red team, it was simply amazing. Great storytelling. 11/10, would watch again, just for the characters. Better than most tv shows anymore.

@@Sword4000 He could have lived, you should have told him to take his helmet off and have a clear hot bar space to quick equip a runner's helmet, that you could have grabbed from someone at the glade and placed it in his path and returned ahead of him.

I feel really bad for her, cuz she and others who died before the exit COULD escape if only Sword convinced them to rush to it, instead of screaming to stay and wait and then running all alone. And even if some of them died in that rush, they at least tried to run for thier lives. Like, I genuinely can't understand why Sword so uncertain about running and staying still, he literally waits to griever to come near him before running outside of the walls. Maybe he's doing it to add some tension for the viewers, but for me it's just annoying and it also one of the reasons why some people died

The only issue I see with this event concept is that only a few people got to participate in the main focus of the event, instead of everyone.

I mean everyone did because 90 to 95 percent of beginning runners died
plus, to me it feels like simply because he was the event organiser, sword was able to secure a position in participating in the event? I just feel it's strange how he immediately finds gear that gets him ahead of the game and he was lucky enough to get a helmet. not sure if that's luck or if he already knew where it was before the game started. it's not that I don't understand that he's the one recording the event so he should show us how it goes, but it feels like he got an unfair advantage in comparison to everyone else. It's probably just me overthinking it though?

Finally a challenge that punishes players that heavily attack early on! Some people actually want to see the outcomes of the building phase and see what the maps have in stock
It was so satisfying seeing the genius moves made by the red team that allowed them to win despite some initial disadvantages. The bunker, going down the alternate path, going for the building contest, finding the mine, they all were amazing decisions that allowed the red team to win. I also enjoyed the perspective of the commentator being in a team, it gave more of an insider sense of the strategies and relationships created in the event. Nice work!
There was an interesting chain of decisions and events that made the Red team win... imagine if Sword didn't see Oni when he came back to the glade? It was all so close to fail completely
I feel like Blue had the advantage of fighting ability, they took on Red and Green on multiple occasions and won, but then got greedy, going after Red first, lost a couple of players, then cutting their losses, but deciding to attack green instead, then not only going to far into their base, but getting baited at the end of the fight, which caused them to not have enough time to get home, green lost a couple of players sure, but because if this, blue lost their 1 advantage, their fighting power........all of it. I don't know what happened to Green exactly, but taking their whole party out wasn't the best idea, they just died slowly over time. Red started out poorly, but had the best strats in the end........and well got lucky with some things.
Gonna question why nobody dug into the maze wall and hid within it... or built cover from greivers.

This has got to be one of the most immersive compotitions story telling i have seen in a while. The risk and the consequences and the inability to type in chat with the environment truly being the greatest threat, it felt as real as it can get in a video game. Top tier for sure. Each death was such a hit to moral and strength for all teams
HotSweatyGarbage getting crushed by the door is something I'm pretty sure actually happened to someone in Maze Runner.

this was so beautifully made, i was invested every single second. I'll admit i would get attached the other players and when they died my heart ached. just when i was sure they'd win half of the 12 didn't make it. either way glad you won 🏆 thank you for constant hours of entertainment
That looked like a super hard event, the teams should have had more players or there should have been more teams. Respect to the solo green that survived that long, but I wonder what would've happened if sword never went back to get Oni, since they wouldn't have been able to complete the whole event without their team. Very entertaining video.
That is a good fricken point, but maybe oni would have ran out alone and died knowing the rules of escape.
The A team runners were heading back to pick up the rest of the team anyway once they found out you can't leave without everyone.

If you have to do anything like this again i'd recommend making a wall of accountability tags. if you enter the maze, you put a sign with your name on the wall. once you come back out, you take it off the wall. you could use it to assign certain people to do certain tasks in the maze as well by grouping them.

Yoooo, this video was insane. I was scared man. Thise grievers were ruthless. It’s like you’re almost certainly dead if you are out at night even if you hide. This was CRAZY
This event was very amazing. The map design and the balance of the grievers made it super refreshing. The stakes were high and amazing to see it come through.
I loved how they did the Grievers. Night time they are super deadly, but day time they sleep, only attacking if you go into their nest.
I will say, it seems if you carry milk on you at all times and go in with big numbers, people should be able to attack those nests successfully.
25:37 finding out a non-runner somehow survived being locked out the glade night 1 and had JUST managed to get back with loot he found. 27:50 and it loops back to what we know now.

@@classeontop7403 To be fair Sword was a critical part of the team here. He is one of the many members on Red that needed to survive or else they wouldn't have won. But no losses on Red were intentional despite many willing to make sacrifices. I think that is why they did so much better than Blue for example. Blue team thought this was a PVP event and I'm not even sure what Green's goals were lol.

It's cool how the grievers in this minecraft maze runner video were actually dangerous.
This ended up being better than most of those high budget shows on streaming! The story was so intense. And to know this is all unscripted!
The call to make a bunker, the call to leave a sign upon leaving, and the fact that you came back to base, thinking it was in vain and finding that poor soul left behind saying "where is everyone?", and that reuniion in the end made me so hyped up!

The helmet argument was so dumb, everytime it got brought up it was just a hero complex from the runners lol
Next time you can have the dead players controlling the grievers. Then you won't be dependent on AI and the maze will get significantly deadlier as the event unfolds.
Sick idea
This was definitely one of the best videos I have ever seen. This event was crazy hard and at the start your team was disorganized but became the under dogs and made the best comeback ever. Every single person on red team were HUGE keeper of teammates. You all know how truely difficult this event was and had priorities straight. Everyone who made great leader ship, sacrafices, and risks are OG.

Blue team: aggressive, territorial and feared; known as one of the most powerful glades
Green team: naive, and mostly neutral
Red team: the hero’s of the story
This is great! I have no complaints, but I think it might be cool to add cinematic scenes like speedsilver as you go down the story telling route. The bits and pieces of the other teams was so refreshing. You had me rooting for you in this video, and you have me rooting for you, as content creator. Genuinely epic
I’m trying to establish my own style, so copying speedsilver cinematic scenes isn’t fair on the work he puts in to make his videos unique

Red Team was a cut above Blue and Green that's for sure. Blue was too blood thirsty and Green were just Griever snacks.
