As a long-time fan I appreciate how many styles they tried throughout the years. I definitely recommend watching them live, Ruki's live vocals are as great as they are on the recordings (trust me as a fan who's been very privileged to attend several concerts), as well as you get amazing stage presence and performance elements from the dvds. They put their all in live shows and I would be really interested to see your thoughts about them :)
Specifically recommend 'Dim Scene' as mentioned in other comments (from Standing Live Tour14 Heresy Limited), 'Dogma' (from Dogmatic final) and 'Inside beast' for awesome fun energy
Thanks for another reaction to The Gazette. :) From the same album I really recommend song "Dim Scene", especially live performance from 2014, there is also video with english translation of lyrics, lyrics are very important in their music, very deep, so I recommend that video. Also this song "13Stairs [-1]" also have deep lyrics, it's about music industry, I recommend read some translation. You can find many different genres andd styles in their discography.
I love this band! It's one of my favourites. I saw them live in 2005 at Zep Tokyo. It was a 5 band concert "Peace & Smile Carnival Tour". It had Kagrra, , Alice Nine, ガゼット (Gazetto) aka The GazettE, Kra and Miyavi. They were all part of the PS Company Label. The GazettE sounded Great. They all did! Though, the only band I wasn't really into was Alice Nine, It's the vocalist's voice... not my taste, though they were lots of fans for them. The Japanese concert scene is so much different than the North American concert scene, I found it more fun. Nothing like body surfing person in a panda costume. (They body surf forward with shoes off there. There isn't... or wasn't at the time pushing forward through people to get closer... you body surfed if you wanted to get closer. Everyone does hand movements in unison and "head banging" in unison. It was quite the experience and will never forget it.
Dim is a banger of an album.

Do you mean the clip from PWTDS? It's still up and INSANE! 🤘 There is another one from the Magnificent Malformed Box live that is also fantastic but not as ominous as the other.

Again, the Spotify discography and part of the bio is incorrect. The GazettE has 10 albums (not 9) - their first one, Disorder, always seems to get ignored. They also have 6 EPs. With the bio, you were getting hung on names because the text was combo'ing band roles. To clarify what you were trying to read (and as far as you got): vo(cal) = Ruki; guit(ar) = Uruha (YOU-ROO-HA!)...the one I have developed a mad crush on. I think he's delicious...not gonna lie. 😸
The top 5 jams cited by Spotify would all be worthy of attention on the channel, in my opinion. There are videos for all. In a great example of how diverse their material is (in terms of incorporating different flavors), #1 ranked jam Shiver is catchy and up-tempo with a quasi-mainstream punk feel, while #4 ranked jam Dogma is heavy, dark, growly, doom metal-ish. And then they have tracks like Silly God Disco (on the second album, NIL) which is a super fun, super catchy, makes you want to dance, fantastic piece of metal fluff. 😸 There are some weep-worthy wonderful ballads, too. You simply can't lose with these guys. And I have only been a fan for a month (as of this writing).... 🙀🤘
And 6 EPs starting in 2002. Yeah I noticed that Spotify is missing a lot of their Earlier stuff NIL. Its everything from Their PS Company label stuff. Maybe Spotify didn't get the rights to air PS Company material? ... Check other PS bands...seems the same with Miyavi. Kra has 1 PS album then jumps like 4 years...
You should do one of this local band I saw here in Daytona Beach called Tactosa. My favorite song of theirs is called "augured in". Thanks, love your channel.
