Big love always and thank you for your continued support 💛
Lianne is one of my all time favs!! This song really showed off her range so well
I’m not lying we’ve watched this back to back this is just TOO GOOD!
Haha!!! Listen when it hits I get it best believe 😄
I agree with your analogy in the first few minutes; her delivery in her music really does pull you into her world. The lyrics tell you enough to know what she's talking about, but when combined with her vocal choices and arrangement, allows you to feel the weight behind them.
Wow you are an amazing singer aswell
Here's me singing along to the whole thing and then waiting for you to give the analysis and then continuing
Hahaha I can imagine it aswell 😝
Wow loved watching this, I was not expecting you to effortlessly match that high belt, that was awesome! I've been a massive fan of both her and Monica Martain for almost a decade for all the reasons you mentioned loving Lianne's voice. It's a shame they're so criminally underheard. Fans of Lianne *NEED* to watch her live Studio Brussel cover of 'I Say A Little Prayer' by Aretha Franklin, it will shatter your soul (in the best way). Monica Martain used to be the vocalist for a indie/folk/alt-ish band called Phox (check their amazing live audiotree session of Slow Motion), but has also released some great solo stuff and has a few phenomenal live Scary Pockets cover sessions (her vocals on 'Don't Think Twice, It's All Right by Bob Dylan *melt me*). Just subscribed and looking forward to watching future releases!
I honestly love this song sooo much and I neglected the beauty that lord within her performance until now😩💛🙌
I just love her voice, style, musicality ❤
This analysis is so envolving! Lianne’s song is a masterpiece and you, Bianca, makes poetry to explain it for us ❤
Thank you for sharing in the experience with me💛
loved this! the way you keep up vocally with every artist you react to… incredible.
you should react to Yebba’s tiny desk of you haven’t already watched it!
Or at least her performance of ‘Stand’
Thank you for feedback and support Jared much love, I’m swiftly coming to yebba and I can’t wait😆👍😉
love this breakdown! I could only blabber on about her godly vibrato, I'm obsessed with it xD
OH I just found out you absolutely nailed the Jill Scott pick! Check out her interview with Fantano at 30:35, she calls it "one of her favourite songs of all time"
Haven’t watched this yet but I have to leave a comment because I’m gassed!!!!
this is crazy ..luv your analysis
Spot on about Jilly being an influence. Lianne does an incredible rendition of “He Loves Me”
Never thought anyone could touch Jill but damn did Lianne do the damn thing!🔥🔥🔥
yeah Lianne loves her some Erykah Badu! you got that right B
Ayyye there we are! Thanks for that insight💛
I love Lianne!! She is my favorite artist from the UK.
She’s just brilliant right!
Loved this! 🤎
Thank you for your support 🤗
Awesome analysis!! New Sub here. Your voice is beautiful as well! Thank you for sharing🎵
Thank you for your kind words and support 💛
Glad to see that others appreciate Liane and specifically this song but you can sing as well!!!!!!! Great review
💖💜👏🏿
where can i hear u sing ma`am? jesus
💰💰💰💰💰
Right!
I'm no expert but she appears to get a vibrato going while in chest voice, that she keeps going as she transitions to head voice. Not many folk do that - Luther Vandross is the only other one whoe springs to mind.
Great observation 👌
how does one belt at such a high pitch?
If you haven’t already found some tips I’ll do a shorts asap💛
