  • This is a Fan Made Unofficial Video for the 50 Cent Song: "I'm a Hustler"
Album: Power of the Dollar: (unreleased) Recorded-1998-2000
    [Produced by DJ Scratch]
Curtis James Jackson III (born July 6, 1975), known professionally as 50 Cent, is an American rapper, actor, television producer, and businessman.
Born in the South Jamaica neighborhood of Queens, Jackson began pursuing a musical career in 2000, when he produced Power of the Dollar for Columbia Records; however, days before the planned release, he was shot nine times, and the album was never released.
Subsequently, the album was heavily bootlegged. As of 2023, Columbia has no plans to release the album.
The album features guest appearances from Destiny's Child, Noreaga, Dave Hollister, Bun B and the Madd Rapper. The album's production was handled by Trackmasters, Red Spyda, Sha Self, DJ Scratch and Erick Sermon, among other producers.
The album's lead single, "How to Rob", was released on August 10, 1999, and was also included on the soundtrack to the film In Too Deep. The single attracted significant controversy due to its content, which was him comically telling how he would rob several high-profile hip-hop & R&B artists. The second single, "Thug Love" featuring Destiny's Child, was released on September 21, 1999. Days before 50 Cent was scheduled to film its music video, he was attacked by a gunman in the infamous shooting incident that left him with nine gunshot wounds and gave him his dimple scar; an event that 50 Cent often references in his lyrics. While hospitalized, he signed a publishing deal with Columbia Records; however, he was dropped from the label after it was discovered that he had been shot. The track, "Ghetto Qur'an (Forgive Me)", has been speculated to be the reason for the shooting.
The third and final single, "Your Life's on the Line", was released in 1999. The song was produced by Terrence Dudley, and was perceived as a diss song to Ja Rule, which would begin their highly publicized feud on records. 50 mocks Ja Rule's catchphrase "Murdaa!", on the chorus of the song, rapping "Murdaa, I don't believe you/Murdaa, Fuck around and leave you/Murdaa, I don't believe you/Murda Murda, your life's on the line". A music video for this song was released, which was also the only song with a music video of the whole album. The song would later be included as a bonus track on 50's officially released debut album Get Rich or Die Tryin'.
In 2002, after 50 Cent released the mixtape Guess Who's Back? he was discovered by Eminem and signed to Shady Records, under the aegis of Dr. Dre's Aftermath Entertainment and Interscope Records.
His first major-label album Get Rich or Die Tryin' (2003), was a huge commercial success.
The album spawned the Billboard Hot 100 number one singles "In da Club" and "21 Questions" (featuring Nate Dogg), and was certified 9× Platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).
That same year, he founded G-Unit Records, signing his G-Unit associates Young Buck, Lloyd Banks and Tony Yayo; prior to becoming the de facto leader of the East Coast hip hop group G-Unit.
50 Cent had similar commercial and critical success with his second album, The Massacre (2005), which contained the single "Candy Shop" (featuring Olivia).
He underwent musical changes by his fifth album, Animal Ambition (2014), and is currently working on his sixth studio album.
He executive-produced and starred in the television series Power (2014-2020) and is slated to produce its spin-offs.
50 Cent has sold over 30 million albums worldwide and won several awards, including a Grammy Award, a Primetime Emmy Award, thirteen Billboard Music Awards, six World Music Awards, three American Music Awards and four BET Awards.
As an actor, Jackson appeared in the semi-autobiographical film Get Rich or Die Tryin' (2005), the war film Home of the Brave (2006), and the crime thriller film Righteous Kill (2008).
50 Cent was ranked the sixth-best artist of the 2000s and the third-best rapper (behind Eminem and Nelly) by Billboard.
Rolling Stone ranked Get Rich or Die Tryin' and "In da Club" in its lists of the "100 Best Albums of the 2000s" and "100 Best Songs of the 2000s" at numbers 37 and 13, respectively. In 2023, Billboard ranked 50 Cent the 17th best rapper of all time.

    Lyrics:
    [Verse 1]
Rule number one: Don't go against the grain
Rule number two: Give respect where respect due
Rule number three: If you get knocked, play games and say names
The .45 will tear you out the frame
It's like the rich get richer and the poor don't get a fucking thing
For me ain't nothin' changed, but the things my money bring
My style will leave you aggy like them cats in jail
Who peoples got plenty money, actin' like they ain't got bail
I feel for you niggas, gettin' shot while I'm sayin' this rhyme
Or niggas in the mess hall, gettin' chopped on chow lines
An old timer schooled me, said: "Don't burn bridges, my friend
Imagine the G-Dub close and yo' ass gotta swim"
I watch the fifth melt a nigga on the sidewalk in New York
Me and shorty stood from afar and had a talk
He said "I told him if he came around I'd clap him, I gave him my word
Look at his hand, it's still shakin' - he had a lot of nerve"
    [Hook]
If it wasn't for the flow
I'd probably have to double back, bubble crack
    I'm a hustler
If it wasn't for the flow
I'd probably have to double back, bubble crack
    I'm a hustler
    [Verse 2]
Yo, when the Feds come in the game, loyalty is limited
    Hardcore niggas start actin' feminine
With the Feds you do eighty five percent of your time
Duke, you get ten, you'll damn near do nine
I hate a liar more than I hate thief
A thief is only after my salary, a liar is after my reality
    The streets I know'em like my ABC's
Stay away from the D's and stack ya' cheese
Try to see three hundred G's before you see 300Z's
Tree top to feel the breeze, coke connects for key's
Yo' bitches sexin' me, take me to ecstacy
Once I nut, I don't want 'em next to me
If it's on, mother fucker, believe I'mma ride
I'm the type to swallow my blood 'fore I swallow my pride
Letters on my sweater read DKNY
Got grimy niggas runnin' with me from BKNY
    [Hook]
If it wasn't for the flow
I'd probably have to double back, bubble crack
    I'm a hustler
If it wasn't for the flow
I'd probably have to double back, bubble crack
    I'm a hustler
    [Verse 3]
They say I don't sound like a killer, well, how a killer sound?
I bet I grab a 4-pound and back that ass down
See many men live, baby, and many men die
Many men get drunk, puff lye and stay high
Here's a jewel: love your enemies and hate your friends
Your enemies remain the same, friends always change
I learned quick that there's more than one way to skin a cat
You can get 'em in his face, dog, or down his back
All bullshit aside now, its time to be honest
I fear no man, for death is all that's promised
I got niggas standin' in line, waitin' to hear me spit
From '86 to '96 the game went from sugar to shit
This for you niggas in the background dyin' to shine
I hate you like fiends that ask me for a dime for nine
Ain't nothin' changed in the game, but faces and names
The state, the weight, the date and the jake
    [Hook]
If it wasn't for the flow
I'd probably have to double back, bubble crack
    I'm a hustler
If it wasn't for the flow
I'd probably have to double back, bubble crack
    I'm a hustler
