Tommee set out to create an album of Christmas songs with the goal of making it sound like an epic movie soundtrack for the story of Christ’s birth. When Jordan Smith sang on The Voice, my daughter and I agreed that this was one of the few times that the contestant was more talented than the pro coaches. That he won was no surprise! I'm glad to see that he is still showing that great talent and blessing his audiences because so many talent show contestants shine and then fade away.
I've seen him in concert with Amy Grant. And I can tell you I had goosebumps and chills through my whole entire body. His voice is so amazing in person. It is the most beautiful voice I have ever personally heard. I truly recommend that anyone to go hear him live.

I saw him a lot when he was at University. He sang at my barbershop chorus's Christmas shows BEFORE he got famous. His solo cost us not that much.....:) He's done all right now for a music career!

FYI if you haven't watched the BTS of this concert, Tomee said he couldn't proceed with the show unless Jordan would perform. He is the greatest in this version. Periodt.
I swear to God, I watched his season every week, religiously, and from his first audition, I looked over at my dad, and I was absolutely freaking out. I swore to my dad that I didn't even have to hear the rest of the contestants because I already knew from his Chandelier performance that he'd be the winner. Sure enough, he won. On another note, I'm not sure why I struggled with my head voice before my transition. Once I started HRT and my voice settled in the baritone register, I discovered my mixed register. As an alto 2, I didn't have one. I think it also helped me significantly that throughout my entire voice change from the Testosterone, I stretched my voice with vocal exercises, singing various songs that challenged my range, and still stay committed to that process 8 years later. On a good day, my range has probably doubled from what it used to be because not only has my voice gained a much deeper range, I've also been able to keep my previous range of an alto 2 while using my head voice. It's wild.
