Same chamber work I had to do with a 032 piston in a 45mm cylinder. I spent hours and hours just to get the band tapered to the piston. Also has to dremel and finger sand the combustion chamber. I understand the effort and I hope she runs sweet!
@Super-Dave-Outdoors have you done the baseline testing/comparisons for case compression changes as well as timing advances? I went away from high Rev saws... I run a 7 sprocket on everything. I like force feeding the saws. Lol
At 102° i still have over 210psi, the rancher coil has very little advance factory so i had to push it for it to pull rpm. I did some testing on a 55 cyl but i am going to re-do that cylinder because i think i can beat it.

I had 8 hours in the first one and then had to do it all over with the 2nd cyl
Dang hate seeing all that work get ruined, hopefully with the leaks fixed she acts right.
I think i hit a wall on this one. I prolly spent 30+ hours on it over the past week and i am just wiped out
I hope it runs good on Saturday.
Same here
Looks like you might have found your problem, Dave.
Found a few problems, they should be straightened out. I'll find out at lunch when i make test cuts.
One piece at a time……
What's your case compression?
40° case compression, 77,117,102
4.2cc chamber with .865" ex height giving corrected CR of 8.95:1, 20° timing advance

Hoping i gained rpm and beans to force it a little harder with the air leaks sorted out.
