Hey bro how did you hook all 4 amps up to the eq bass and where did you leave the settings on the amps ? Oh and are you using a 8 inch port or 10 inch port in the rear ?
I had two rca leads. I run the rca's to connect two amps, and I use the amps with the rca's to give a signal to the other two amps using a single rca cable from the out put of the amps. I leave the settings on the amps I little bit higher than I usually run them because you're going to be using the eq bass to control the amps. I'm using a 10-inch port 👍
@@956Bassaddict I tried using the outputs of some smart. 5s to feed each other and had bad ground noise smh. So you still have to gain match them each individually ?
@Basshertz94 Sorry, I just saw your message. You might need an rca distribution block. They don't have to be perfectly matched. Try to set them a little bit higher on the clipping point. But sometimes, it is hard to find the clipping point on those amplifiers. If you can find the clipping point on one of your amps, try to see what voltage is to gaing match the rest of your amps at the same voltage.
So do you think the "Smart" technology is all its hyped up to be? I really like the idea of possibly getting the watts I pay for out of an amp and not eating it all up with rise. Sadly I have seen the Smart 8's go up by almost 200$ in the last little bit...

The gain on the amp you can start in half that one depends on how good of signal you have from your head unit. When you are turning the bass knob on the eq bass, if you're clipping too early, you need to adjust the gain on the amp. The high pass on the minimum 8hz or 10 hz on the amp to be able to play the lower frequencies. The low pass turned up to the max or around 100hz on the amp. Bass bost and bost Frequency, you can leave those all the way down.
Ok cool the build I'm doing is 2 taramp smart 5k on 2 America Bass 12s they handle 5000 rms a sub already installing a high output alternator as a secondary power supply separate from the stock system 2 titan pwr-s5 5,000 batterys just had a few questions that's why I asked if you hand Facebook or Instagram lol hope you get one or the other

Question with that taramp bass eq I was wondering why you still had rca running through the out back into inputs on your amps when the device is given you the ability to run multiple amps maybe because I'm running 2 amps and the amps have 1 input they told me I can take 1 rca coming from the output of the bass eq into one 1 amp input and the other rca into other input on other amp if that makes sense?
Yes, you can do that on your system. In my case, because i was running 4 amps, i was doing the same thing you are doing on your system. I run the two rcas from the eq bass to get the signal on two amps. But i use the output of the amp with a single short rca to give a signal to a second amp. 👍
@956Bassaddict will I gain anything adding dual 0 gauge adapters to the power and ground input on the smart 5k taramp amps or I should be fine just using the dual power and ground input that's already on the amp already?
@shannonlamontupton4635 If your battery is closed to the amps and you're doing short runs of cable, you should be fine. But if you have to do long runs of cable from the battery to the amps, i think dual inputs will be better

SSA studio for the meter, Frequency Generator for the test tones, and for demos playing music i use the music i downloaded on samsung music 🔉
