Beautiful to see kids outdoors playing, instead of glued in front of a video games console. The hours I spent at the outdoor rink, or playing road hockey are some of the best memories I'll ever have.
THIS is the way childhood is supposed to be. No kids sitting inside on their phones being a zombie on social media. All outside, having an adventure, making friends, and playing a sport that is near and dear to my heart. These kids don’t know it yet, but they will look back at their childhood someday when they start comparing other kid’s childhoods and realize just how fortunate and lucky they were to have what they had. Bless Hockey and the culture surrounding it. There’s just nothing quite like Hockey life.
