Thanks for the content. You earned my inscription due to: no long and cliché introduction; concise comments; no annoying animation between items (though considering removing the annoying sound); no trying to be too funny without being an actual funny person; great voice (credits to the guy on the right). Just a brief feedback. Keep the good job!
Another fellow Minnesotan?! I'm late to the channel but glad I found ya'll! I love a top ten list that has games I've never played. Will have to give Broom Service a try someday. I'll just share my top 3 with ya: 3 - Ora et Labora: A Rosenberg tableau builder with no random chance. The players control everything. Very long, very mathy, and fun to take advantage of other player's missteps. 2 - Argent the consortium: An anime school themed worker placement with the delayed worker trigger that is similar to Dominant Species. Makes for a tense game. 1 - Terraforming Mars: I've played this game more than any other med/heavy game. Playing 2 times later tonight with friends. Playing it next Monday. Playing it two more times next Thursday. I can't seem to get sick of it. Can't wait to watch more from ya!
Hey! Minnesotans unite!! 😁 Thanks for your support and for taking the time to watch/comment. My response to your top 3: (3) Ora et Labora: I haven’t played but heard great things about it. For some reason there isn’t a SINGLE Uwe game that I’ve fallen in love with yet… this is the main reason for my lack of trying this game. (2) Argent the Consortium: I personally own this game but haven’t played yet! Looks great! I love the art style and think its more complex worker placement rules (asymmetric agents) will gel perfectly for the mid-heavy euro gamer in me. Hope to get it played ASAP. (1) Terraforming Mars: I’ve played it twice and both times it fell flat. Too much randomness in card draw for how heavily the strategy of the game relies on it. - Cory Talking Cardboard
Such a great game! Definitely deserves a 2nd edition. There are a few board and graphic design changes they could make along with component upgrades that would really elevate the experience even more. But the gameplay is so solid that Broom Service has really become a classic in my opinion.
Thanks for watching and taking time to comment! Great list! I haven’t played Cthulhu Wars or BotC yet, but your other three games are FANTASTIC picks. - Cory
Nice lists. Thanks for sharing! My top 5 would be (in no particular order) Brass Lancashire, Dune Imperium, Gaia Project, Vindication, Babylonia. Cheers!
Lancashire over Birmingham?? Fantastic choices though! I haven’t played Babylonia… I own Vindication but haven’t played a full game of it, don’t see the appeal in its design. Thanks for taking time to watch and comment 🤩
Thanks for sharing. Great lists. Lost Ruins of Arnak, Castles of Burgundy, and Dune Imperium are in my Top Ten too! I also like these a lot - Marvel Champions: LCG, Dwellings of Eldervale, Unsettled, and Oathsworn.
Thanks for the recommendation! Just the kind of push I needed. I’ve had my eyes on Glass Road for years but never took the chance on it. What about Glass Road do you find similar to Broom Service? Also looking for more games that play well solo so that’s great 😃
@@TalkingCardboard More push your luck goodness in the hand management. You have a hand of cards with different abilities. If you're the only one to play that card you get to use both ability powers on the card. If your opponent also chooses to play the same card you only get one action. So you want to be efficient, but at the same time think about what your opponent might be planning as well.

Couldn't agree more. I enjoy the list. Hearing pro and con is helpful.

Watched this a while ago and it pushed me to get Brass. Love the succinct introductions. Thanks for the video!
Assuming you’ve had a chance to get it tabled, thoughts on Brass?
@ not yet😬 Still shelf of shame 🤦🏻♂️ But when I do…..
Oh man, Broom Service! I missed my opportunity to buy that a while back. Can't find it anywhere now. I've always heard good things about that one.

Good video, I wish you guys would additionally release Podcasts too! (Haven't seen a podcast ep for 3 months)
New episode is finally up!! ua-cam.com/video/LREzjS9Oui0/v-deo.html

Dune Imperium / and Uprising is easily my favourite game! Great video!
John did very well during the intro.
Respect to John for having Clank! in his list. 🙌
Just found your channel. Love it. Heaven and ale and broom service. Great games. If you like Heaven and ale have you played kraftwagen?
Hey thanks for watching and for your support! Have not played Kraftwagen yet!

Haven’t tried Unsettled or Oathsworn yet, but LOVE Dwellings!! Thanks for sharing!
If you like Broom Service try out Glass Road. Perfect at 2 players. Not a bad solo game as well.

Oooh nooo! What are a few of your favorites other than SWR?
DUNE my Top 1 ❤
Yessssss!! Sooo AMAZING 🤩
If you enjoy Magic I think you'll also love Sorcery. It's not really getting enough recognition for how fun it is.
