Most of the time designers are forced to include them by the organisations they are working for. That's really hard topic, because on one hand you would like to be ethical in your practice, and on the other you would like to have a job (if you aren't freelancing, but even then your client may force you to do some of them). So it can be hard on designers conscience if they work for companies or clients supporting unethical practices... Because most of the time business is business...
