What about putting something like Pledge on it rather than water?

How can I use my enviro cloth for dusting. I don't trust putting anything damp on my mothers good furniture as it may turn the surface white like a glass ring? Please help me.

Using a damp (not soaking) cloth on even the most expensive furniture won’t damage it but if you’re that worried run a dry cloth over the furniture after the damp one.
Those white rings are from excessive moisture (like not using coasters).

Good advice, Rita. I cleaned homes (with fine antiques) for years and most of my clients preferred I use a damp/dry rag (didn’t know about Norwex back in the 90’s) to dust their fine antique furniture. It actually helped to put a little moisture, that was much needed, back into those antique pieces.
