Just tested this, and you're correct. Thanks for the heads up. If I had the BizHawk movie editing know-how and some motivation, I think I could fix just that chapter. Guess this run will just have to remain technically invalid for now though. Oops!
Yeah, I agree with you. Playing this way isn't particularly fun, but it's interesting that such a thing is possible at all. The fact that the game uselessly tracks your captures is really strange. Makes me wonder if there was a deeper meaning to it early in development, you know?
