Music 1 = Magic Beast Scramble.

Music 3 = Legendary Fish.

First few minutes were brickfest that Salad player couldn't catch a break lol. This deck is just slow control without Resonators I wanted to try it pure but I love more combo the hybrid provides; Dis Pater, Auxila, Hot Red, two traps face down, protection in GY and Crimson Dragon play to SS either Blazar, Trishula or Supernova is just nasty. Though I see some appeal of pure, it can play better against hand traps and the choke points of Resonators are huge, like single Bystial could pretty much end me. Higher ceiling, but more risky than pure. Hopefully you sometimes play the hybrid version.

I don't know much about centurion, but is there any reason why on the game 1 of top 16, the guy didn't start with Duster to wipeout your backrow before making plays?

Auxilla protects face up Backrow, Primera in Trap form protects Centur-ion monsters, and the Field Spell protects itself while a Centuri-Ion card is face-up on your field. Destruction based Board Wipes are notoriously awful against the deck.

Field Spell protects itself if you control ANY face-up Centur-ion card, Primera as Trap protects Centur-ion monsters, Auxilla protects face-up Backrow. It's why Regained and Beast are so good in the Bystial build and Destruction based Board Wipes are so awful against it in general.

​@@AprilShowerz Gargoyle is EXTREMELY good in the Bystial build since Lubellion can tribute it to set up Regained or Beast before going for Auxilla(which covers those from Duster/LS and other destruction options), and I've had some moments where I've gone and sent the Field Spell or Trudea to get another Level 8 on the field for either more level 12 Synchro plays(usually Luluwalilith if I already have Auxilla out since I value that over Crimson Dragon shenanigans) or a Dingirsu. I really wouldn't consider it all that bricky in those circumstances at least. Maybe in the "pure"(aka Crimson Dragon + Hand Traps) variant, but with how well my stuff plays through hand traps I unfairly bias that version as worse than it actually is.
