I see a lot of people blaming the mushroom for telling them the truth. Blaming their problems on a mushroom. What about the destruction from pharmaceuticals? Go look at those facts and take responsibility for yourself and your family’s own mental health problems. I say this is a tool which shows truth.
Psychedelics triggered schizophrenia in my son and he spent a year in a psychiatric institution at the age of 18. It was there that we met the parents of a young lady who had gone to NYC to pursue a career as a professional ballerina at the age of 18 and tried LSD for the first time. It triggered bi-polar disorder and she became a totally different person. Years later she still has severe mood swings, is violent and unable to live independently. Psychedelics are very dangerous if you have the genetic predisposition for major mental illness.
@@A_Dventures18 is when schizophrenia and bipolar come out anyway. That's why you can't be diagnosed until then. Psychedelics have helped me by showing the truth in my life whether painful or otherwise. They have given me mental clarity over some subjects that have torn me apart. @@john-sebastianmealer3193 you found yourself in a shrooms trip? Maybe people should just try to find their identity in Jesus where they truly belong instead of using psychedelic drugs. Being on a shrooms trip is not reality, and it’s putting your brain in a state it’s not meant to be in.
God bless you for sharing what God says about drugs and your own mind and warns us to what they truly do which is deceive us and not follow what Gods true words were.
I can say that psychedelics did bring me back to believing in God. LSD made me realize i had a greater purpose of helping people and that brought me back to God.
Same. I think it can be used in ways that the devil uses (recreational) medicinally it can give clarity. I respect yeeyee opinion. He did the work but the Bible is interpreted. The officiating message was perfect and led to an article by minister, and theologian writer Russell Moore who says no to unbelievers, and let the state officiate the wedding that the state will overall hold the couple accountable in future, because they have no church to hold them accountable. He says saying no and why is more likely to spread the Gospel than saying yes and officiating a wedding in hopes of spreading the Gospel. I personally was married in 2010 and didn’t find Jesus until 2023 (after reading Like a River actually).

There are those that think the natural drugs ( pot, mushrooms and even LSD ) are not bad for you. But those drugs triggered my brother to be bi-polar, that then led him to self medicate both to combat the mania and the depression with cocaine and downers…. It’s an argument I have with my husband who grew up in the 60s with the hippy movement…. I say natural or not, it messes with you and can cause permanent damage. I’m fortunate that my experimenting early on, did not affect me the same.
I also witnessed the enemy trying to devour my brother, and it was only the rest of our family praying for him, did he get rescued and accepted Christ. It was scary for him, he used to go to bed with the Bible draped over him before he accepted Christ. The spiritual warfare is real….
People are really starting to advocate for these “natural drugs” as if they have no side effects or can cause damage. There are “natural” things that can cause serious harm to us, just because they’re natural doesn’t mean it’s positive.
@@debrathomas3925that’s cause most people that use those drugs do them to feel good and over abuse them. Not to mention, people go to those drugs because they’re not mentally okay in the first place and search for that substance that helps them escape. Using these substances requires one who meditates, one who loves themself already in a sober state, one who has a good mental state, good intentions, a mindful mind, etc. Of course, eventually nature is going to teach you a lesson if you over indulge in these drugs if you don’t meet the expectations required from your mind. Especially if you’re constantly taking high doses, which is especially where things get outta hand. They’re supposed to be used as a tool, not a feel good or escape mechanism. One should get right in the head first, practice self love, mindfulness, meditating on Gods word and indulging in his creation without these substances. Then, use them as a tool to take it a step farther, a step one cannot reach because of the limitations of the human mind when it’s sober.
Micro Dosing with help from a licensed therapist and doctor can have incredible effects for mental health. Being intoxicated from any substance isn't the best idea.
