Yeah, this has been one of the more difficult videos this channel has produced. Getting some of these games working was easy - they would actually just work right at install! But others ...yeurgh. We're talking 3-4 hours of searching through forums/experimentation and tweaking to get 12 seconds of footage. In some cases, the community has done wonderful work by providing easy all-in-1 downloadable patches - those were amazing. But some of the really obscure ones (like some of the Korean games) - it was not pleasant. This videos in the 8th in a series of 1990s DOS games. The first few ones were quite easy - they "just ran" in DOSBox - but from 1995 onwards, each video has been significantly harder to create. Of course, 95% of that will be wasted on the vast majority of viewers who will only watch 5% of the video and then comment "LOL PC sux PlayStation rulez"
This video is just a *PREVIEW*. The full video (with titles and longer clips!) will be available soon
Wait for it.
These videos are living proof that there's more unique and engaging classics we've NEVER touched than any modern game that's been released.
Beautiful!
damn this video is gonna be a goldmine for me that i look for games from that era due to how unique they were.
I love your previews Gary, gets me excited for the reveal!
Thank you for the kind words! Hopefully the actual video is worth the wait!

PC video games in the mid to late 90's were so exotic yet janky.

I love that you're doing this! I would take half a day to get just one of these running with all the compatability issues old PC games have.
