    The nose is adjustable up and down. It does not mould from "bending" (except as an ordinary soft form fit). Real shame POC don't provide an optional hard case with space for a couple of lenses.

    With a big face (I reckon, the Oakley Sutros do not cover my face fully, for reference), after looking at a few reviews I got a pair of Devours. To my surprise though, for such a big lens, the standard frame is pretty narrow (relatively) - narrower than the Sutros.
    So while the lens work great for my big face and head, the frame actually doesn't accommodate... Might order the WF version to see if that works better.

      Hey! Did you buy the WF version? If yes, how was it compared to the standard version? I´m having the same issue as you as my POC has a snug fit on the sides near my ear (it´s actually clamping on the sides). Would love to know since I´m thinking of buying the WF.
      Thanks a lot!

    Well Poc named them correctly. These would absolutely "devour" my face. I thought my Oakley Jawbreakers were large but these....They do look nice though.

      Exactly. POC's marketing material says the sunglasses "devour" the road, but I'm assuming they realized it has a double meaning. The only downside to the giant size is that they do make you look like a 2000s rapper if you wear them off the bike.

    Also the photocromatic version have the extra clear lens included?

    • @TheSweetCyclists
      @TheSweetCyclists  4 місяці тому +1

      I'm not 100% sure, but for most sunglasses the photochromic versions usually don't include the additional clear lens. You don't really need them as photochromic lens can adjust to be nearly clear.

    Great video ! Just bought one :) . On the POC website, it says the nose piece is adjustable. Can you tell how to adjust correctly without breaking it :p ? thank you.

    • @TheSweetCyclists
      @TheSweetCyclists  3 роки тому +1

      Glad it could help. Which color scheme did you go with? Regarding the nose adjustment, there are no indexed positions like other sunglasses just a soft rubber material. You can see it at 04:52 - just push down and hold to change the shape.

    On sale its 145 Eur, considering this price is it good value? Or should look at something else?

    • @TheSweetCyclists
      @TheSweetCyclists  Рік тому

      If you like the design of the Devour sunglasses, 145 Eur is a good deal. The big size of Devour is great for road or mountain biking.

    Can you get these in prescription? I'm looking for some riding glasses I can get to replace my normal glasses. I was also looking to get the Kortal Race MIPS so these guys popped up.

      @TheSweetCyclists  3 роки тому

      Great question, I don't think POC offers a prescription option for the Devour. You can reach out to POC to see if they have prescription insert options.

    Looks like some sellers on AliExpress screenshotted you on the road and are using it for their product image haha

      That's pretty funny, I guess I'm famous now. POC definitely doesn't sell on AliExpress so don't expect to get a legitimate product.

      @@PedroFerreira-ze5yp As the saying goes "if it's too good to be true, it probably is". I'd recommend Craigslist / Slowtwitch Classified forums for second hand gear if you want to save money. Most cycling gear doesn't have a great resale value.

      Fashion is cyclical, and big sunglasses are back in style again. Have you seen the new Oakley Katos? Not sure if they look good, but it's unique.

    Did you seriously spend $350 on glasses that will either fall off your face at 30 mph or get lost? I could buy 10 pairs of goodr’s wrap g’s and they come in better colors

    • @TheSweetCyclists
      @TheSweetCyclists  2 роки тому +1

      At $350 - this is a pair of sunglasses you'll be a lot more careful with. I agree though, "premium" sunglasses don't make financial sense as you are paying for the branding and style. The optics on the POC are great, but even $100 Blitz sunglasses work nearly as well.
