My favorite part about cosplay is when people reconized you. They get all excited and come to you with their camera asking for a picture. It makes me so happy

Same that's my favourite part as well :) Especially when you don't expect many people to recognize you because your character is not that well known but the people who do recognize you are all the more happy and excited to see you as their favourite character! ^^

my favorite part of cosplay is seeing children react to your cosplay seeing a child's face light up because i am portraying one of their favorite characters just really makes my day
Same i was grell from black butler and a little girl just hugged me say "i love you grell i hope you get sebastian" i didn't see her coming since I was look at merch it was too cute so all i could say was thank you

I'd love to cosplay one day 😍 I'm gonna try to cosplay at a local convention in my city next year! It's called Origins and it's like a baby comicon. I see alot of awesome cosplayers there like a really good Jade Harley from Homestuck (god tier) and other really cool cosplayers!

meeting new cosplayer and friends
my favorite part of going to a con is either when you meet a super nice cosplayer + take a super cute picture with you, or when someone recognizes who you're cosplaying and compliments you and/or asks for a picture. at my first con a homestuck cosplayer asked for a picture with me and it really boosted my self esteem.
I love being recognized, especially if you’re a less known/not really cosplayed character!
Darn, I missed you guys! Otakon 2017 was fun and the new location was just what it needed to grow. I got into all the panels I wanted without any problems. And it was hilarious how the locals reacted to people walking around in costumes smack in the middle of summer.
My favorite thing about cosplay is not just copying the expression of the character but also as it says cosplay is fun, dancing and singing. Showing what you're good at while in cosplay is the greatest thing to me.
My favorite part is the confidence it gives me. When not in cosplay, im shy as heck, but in cosplay at cons, I can go up to people and compliment them, and seeing their smiles is also really cool
My favorite thing has to be just strolling around the convention and unexpectedly making eye contact with another cosplayer from the same series. There's this instant mutual appreciation, especially if the series is a rare one. It's wonderful. :P
My favorite part of cosplay is how you can become someone else. You can leave all your worries and problems and become the character. You learn more and become more familiar with the character as you embody them.

I love showing off what I’ve thrown all my creativity and love into. Being able to show off my work to fans of that character and just making them smile makes the whole time I spend crying over my sewing machine worth it!

My overall favorite part of cosplay is either traveling to the con and people recognize my character, and they want to take pictures as well as learn about the backstory of my character

Meeting cosplayers and just appreciating the time, effort, and sometimes the financial hardships they put towards their costume and it really goes to show you that with hard work, you can truly achieve amazing things.

My favorite part about Cosplay is starting a cosplay. Planning budgeting making sure I have just enough money for a certain part or for the whole entire project is something I do

My favourite things about cosplay are testing my improv skills, as an actor it's heaps of fun, and sometimes challenging to stay in a character all day. Also to share my creativity, in both the art form itself, but also if I'm making my own twist on a character, or creating a completely new and original character.
My favourite part about cosplay is when you see a character from the same show and you have that 5 second recognition and it makes you feel accompanied

my favourite thing about cosplay is getting to meet new friends and connect with other people in the fandoms i’m in. i actually met one of my fans at Lvl Up Expo 2020 and now we’re really good friends!

I was Ciel Phantomhive from Black Butler's Circus Arc on Satuday. Also was an OC. A fox mask with a Blue Korean styled costume on Sunday.
My friend was Asui from BNHA on Sat, and Chika from Love Live Sunshine on Sun.
It was soo much fun, but hot.

My favourite part about cosplay is seeing the reactions of others. I once cosplayed Undyne from Undertale (my profile picture) and I was on my way to the bathroom to fix my makeup. On the way there I heard a girls voice “Mom I want a picture with Undyne!” And I was confused like, wait is she talking about me? Is there another Undyne? But after I fixed my makeup and walked back out into the hall, this girl, maybe 10 or 11 runs up to me and asks “can I take a picture with you?”. I love it when people, especially younger folks, get so excited when they see their favourite characters walking around.

My favorite thing about cosplay is getting to change my personality so if I’m a villain I will act mean (but now too mean) or if I was a cute cat girl I will act adorable and innocent. I like the different personalities I can be because it helps me find out who I really am.

I only ever “cosplayed” (I wouldn’t really have called it such) once, as a human female sans but I’d say my favourite part is, regardless of the quality of your cosplay, is looking in the mirror and seeing that character. Or I guess just the thought of bringing that character to life, in a way.
