Switch the position of the water tank and the shower. So you can use the water tank on the back for washing dishes or cooking easier. Also make a zipable window on the side of the vehicle on the shower room. Leave your dry clothings and towel in the cab with window down and when you're done showering you can zip down without being exposed and reach into the truck to grab your change of clothes.
Great feedback! Thanks
You're hired! 😂😅
The camper is nice but them dirt box decals have to go asap
They don’t come with it. He’s a dealer, so it’s advertising.
Looks sick, this would go crazy on a 6.5" bed lol
We have a 6.5 bed option and even an 8ft bed option!!
Y’all should change the back door for swinging doors to make it easier to get in and out the bed. Camper looks good though.
Dirtbox ganggggg!
oh wassupp baby!!!
My one suggestion I think would be a game changer would be, make the interior ladder collapsible attached to a rail track system that can be locked in place along the rail track system. Basically more modularity for custom build out in the bed of the truck.
Currently it can be romoved and stored wherever you would like! We just like to swing it up and attach it quickly
@@Dirtboxoverland Ohh ok, that's cool that works too. I was concern with the ladder angle position may not be able to deploy properly if people have kitchen set up, seating arrangement or electric power set ups on the bottom sides of the bed.
That look
so nice
Great set up
Nice. Here's a couple questions;
Does the rear brake light have the ability/programmability to serve as an amber chase light when your foot is off the brake?
Does the Dirtbox come pre-wired for solar and/or a fan in ceiling? Is there a hole/solution to get the wiring inside the camper?
Is there some sort of window vents to reduce condensation on rainy/cold nights or days when you are stuck inside with the primary windows/doors closed?
I'd like to see more about methods to get the sleeping bunk up out of the way. Someone need to design a system where the platform goes up on gas struts (this part already exists) and there is a flat surface, inside the camper, over the cab that can slide out several inches to make some sort of desk/work surface. I envision myself working from the camper some days.
How much testing has gone into the struts which are exposed to the elements? I'm a little concerned about water/rust/reliability of struts sitting out in the weather. Does the adjustable feature of the outside struts offset the fact that they are in the weather?
Thanks.
Too bad import fees & exchange rate are too expensive for us canadians. Nice wedge camper 4 sure!!!
We are working on it!
Trying to get a Canadian distributor, if so I can wait!!!.
that ladder would come clutch for my 70 lbs GSD.
Them dirt box decals have to go for me
They don’t come with those decals. He’s a dealer, so he’s advertising.
Are you still happy with this thing. Hows it holding up?
I like the products from R4T but have received zero response, after contacting them several times, regarding an incomplete order. Very frustrating!
Take a shot everytime he says "you guys".
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST FOR THE CAMPER?
Same thing as BF Camper from Delta, BC?
wow dirtbox exterior is exactly the same
Nice video. 👍
Does the sleeping platform tilt up or is it just always down so you have to crawl to everything?
@Dirtboxoverland Can you please explain why BF Camper from Delta, BC looks exactly the same?
Is there a model available for the gladiator? Base price and what is included in base?
Is the brand DIRTBOX? I can't tell, the logos are so small.
if you're sitting up there and close the platform, is there enough gap for your legs to be in between?
Price?
$9500 for a mid size. Comes with lights and a back window, and pre wired. Good insulation already as well. The guy who designed it has a company that designs high six figures off road vehicles, so it’s solid.
Are the rails standard 80/20 hardware compatible? (1/2-24 and 10-32?)
Is it true that Dirtbox is made in China? I don't think this is a necessarily a bad thing but I would have hoped that more of the production savings would have been passed along to us, the customers.
Hey, just wondering if there’s any update on the aux beam 4Runner dash pod release..
Do you make it for the Maverick?
Hey girl! You wanna camp in my dirt box? 😂
😮
Ehhhh…. Save a bit more money and stick with Alucab. To each their own.
These are also made in China and other companies have sold these before and OVS is coming out with their version of it as well.
Made in China?
I hate that HUGE logo. So lame.
The logos on this box are only because it's from the Dirtbox Overland Tundra and is a display model. Those aren't the decals that go on the actual boxes being sold.
I had to stop watching when he said ‘you guys’ for the 341st time.
For the price of that you can just buy a used pop up or four wheel camper nonsense...
If you've owned those, you would know each system has its positives and negatives. There are better pop-up shell/rooftop tent combos than this one. The wedge style is quick to deploy but really cramps the space. Other designs also offer more open access to the bed, utilizing the popup for extra headroom when the sleeping area isn't in use. These designs are lightweight enough to always leave on your truck and usually leave full access to your truck bed. The light weight also means you don't give up payload capacity, and you get better fuel mileage. Not everyone is interested in lugging around a dinette. As for a trailer, that's a whole different category. There isn't meaningful cross shopping between trailers and these units. There are so many limitations with a trailer. It's like saying cars are smarter than motorcycles. You're missing the point.
