- Good bit of dirt, two decent tractors, steepish bank and a great view! Good enough for you? If not, consider there's a nice bit of grunt, and you might see some drilling . . .It's the John Deere 6180R with a Kuhn Drilling combo.

Because its the best way to prepare our ground for another crop. Other methods have been tried.

Thanks for the subscription and the suggestion. As I have said before, it has been tried. Given the fact that I can't use wide-angle because the windsock gets in the picture, and it makes very little difference, I have given up on it. It works for others - maybe I climb higher and the wind is fiercer?

Yes, the video on that machine stated that it was on demo so I didn't bother saying it again! It went back that evening and a 7530 took over (see next video on that). It must have impressed (or the price was right) because a rather larger model has been bought, I understand).

Fantastic vid, NH is sounding to high pitched even for a NH haha, but I'm sure it's all good. Very expensive group their but loving it none the less

realy good video,but i think the 4 furrow plough is bit to much for that small new holland.how much hp does it have,120?i think it is a bit to much for him,but for john deere it s a piece of cake. :) look s like easy but it s not!

nice turbo sound on new holland, like on old IHC tractors, but in a time it gets anoying.
As fields go, that one's pretty expensive!
@balmesh Just watched 6180R video..hadn't seen it before...I think it's a case of YT not telling me about it...my nipper put a video up on YT recently and the first I knew about it was when he posted it to his Facebook page.

It is not too shallow. A good crop of Maize was grown there last year.

YT is very erratic in what it sends. Sometimes I even get an email as well as the video appearing on my home page, but othertimes I get neither!

No, sorry, I can only "tape" what I see. I don't like filming things that are wrong, and you shouldn't really be ploughing at all if it's that muddy!
