GREAT Film...............!!!!! 1959 -1960 I worked for Ford in Washington State....then again in 1968 in Maine... Not a career .. but to feed my kids in the 60's....was part time while in the NAVY '59-'60
As a Ford Technician since 1987, THIS was the Ford Motor Company I fell in love with. It is HEART BREAKING for me (at 55) to go to the Dealership everyday and see what a MESS Ford has become! Thank YOU for making this available for men like me! 👍🏻
@backporchvideos When I first achieved Ford Sr Master in 1999, I was able to go on the cruise etc., but my wife and I had just had a baby 2 months prior. Missed out on that one. I would have to say, the year I worked at TAC (Ford Hotline) in Allen Park and lived in Springwell Apartments in Dearborn, has been the highlight of my 36 year career with Ford. Went back to the Dealership in 2016. I really REALLY, miss the Dealership life from the 1980's through the early 2000's. God it was FUN and GREAT then‼️😉👍🏻
@@backporchvideos WOW! I just looked into your Channel more closely and realized, you are from Dearborn! I do MISS Dearborn.........like Heaven for a Ford Man like me.
Gotta love the old Fords brother, I have a 1996 Ford F150 with a 5.0L (302) Windsor V8 with 210,000 miles and still going strong. I also have a 2011 Ford F150 with a 5.0L Coyote V8 in it with 150,000 miles on it and still going strong as well and its a beast and it sounds like a beast with the Borla ATAK exhaust on it.

Have you been to the 20-year Senior Master Homecoming, or any of the other technician recognition events Ford offers?

@@FordSeniorMaster Then you maybe met my old mentor at FBP3, Al Isner. I took over for him as TSO Broadcast Manager in 2018.
@@FordSeniorMaster I also own my mom's old Grabber Yellow '71 Torino that she bought new!
13:06 Ah, the Futura. One day it will be the first Batmobile.

Very cool. I have my mom's 1971 Ford Torino 302 2BBL that she bought new, and had it fully restored.
@backporchvideos Awesome brother, I would imagine how successful Ford would've been with the Edsel brand had Ford done a better job with the Edsel.
Thank you for sharing this history
My pleasure. Just glad I hung onto this old tape for almost 25 years!
Great video! Thank you for posting.
The Ford People . Thank you for this video. 21:54
NO Henry, Ford DOES NOT need an intermediate brand! ( Edsel anyone?) You already have Mercury...
Today it would be "'ford robot's" it's a shame Ford can't make cars today like they did here.
Yes indeed
Right and don't get me started on these stupid EcoBoost engines as well.
@@CJColvinecoboost engines are alright just as any engine it just requires more maintenance
I wonder if the robots have a UAW of their own 🤔 😂 Make Ford Great Again!
Ford Sr was cool 😎
No he was a bad man
The narrator sounds a lot like long-time CBS reporter Mike Wallace!
Mike is okay, his son on the other hand not so much
We need to get rid of the EPA and go back to analog and start building reliable, low-priced cars again.
It's 1956, not 1946 people
Noted and fixed!
THE GERMAN AND AMERICA PEOPLE IS THE FUTUR OF THE WORLD PEOPLE FOR EVER GERMAN AMERICA PEOPLE
Manesco isn’t German 🤣 And America isn’t Germany. Try again
Times and overall quality of life really went to shit since then.
I only watched about ten minutes of this but I will bet at no time did Henry Ford’s rabid antisemitism get mentioned…
