I’m not a big fan of Red Velvet but after I heard their song Psycho, I was amazed by their vocals especially Wendy and Seulgi. I was more interested to hear Wendy’s voice so I searched it online and found her video before she became a kpop trainee. Her vocals really amazes me every time I heard her sing and also thanks to BLACKPINK (they were dancing Red Flavor by RED VELVET when they were a guest on one of the korean show) because of them, I knew Red Velvet😊🥰

Still, you love to see it. 3rd Gen she's the best by far. Overall in kpop, she's one of the best if not the best. Some other vocalists have more stylisation, maybe do a lot of beltings, high notes. The reason for me why she is one of the best? Because of her technical singing abilities. Through out RV discographies & her solo. She doesn't need to do much of high note & belting to show her vocal abilities. We all know she can do it. Yet she shown her various techniques & skills. She know her voice is an instrument. She treat it as an instrument. Basically she already master her vocals.
True she knows how to play other instruments such as (if I'm not mistaken) guitar, piano, flute, etc. But she's basically mastered her own instrument, that is her voice.
