- Dragonball fighterz is finally back with rollback netcode but now im so rusty that I just suck at fighterz. Will I be able to overcome my rust and get better in time to win any of these dbfz ranked matches?

Me being here or not, I'm sure someone else'd bring counting Gogeta as a Goku (and Vegeta) dub. (Not entirely a 100% accurate, due to how fusion actually works)

1. What is rolling back the netcode mean exactly?
2. Why is it always so hype when companies do it?
3. If it is such a big deal, what prevents AAA companies from.... I guess, Day 1 patching it?

I don’t understand rollback well enough but isn’t it supposed to not have those sudden freezes? That feels like the classic delay system so I don’t get it… I thought it found other ways to deal with high ping, not just pausing the game for a sec to catch up
