I’ve been using Bushnell optics on a very wide range of calibers of rifles for forty years. Never had a malfunction or fail. Never had to call customer service. Never had to call about a warranty. I have so many rifles that I keep a list in writing with all information on the firearm and all accessories including serial numbers. I’d have to go count them just to know exactly how many I have. All of them have Bushnell optics on them. I’m getting ready to take a package deal scope off that new Howa .300WM and put a Bushnell on it just to watch some guys reaction. After reading a few of these comments. I’m really thinking some people are so brand struck by popular 😊thinking and by popular articles by writers or video makers it unreal. Bushnell optics have served me well for forty years with no complaints. I beat them up and put them through decades of hunting. Even had them fall off the hod of my truck directly on the optic taking all the blow. Picked it up and still dead on accurate at 100 yards. Ya I went 100% Bushnell decades ago.
What happens after the Bushnell Match Pro ED limited 5 year warranty expires on their electronics/ illuminated reticle and in fact needs repair? Do you repair them and charge the customers for repairs are you actually able to perform repairs past their limited 5 year electronics warranty? What would it actually cost the customer out of pocket to fix?
I was really excited about this new scope until I found out Bushnell currently has an F rating according to the BBB come warranty time. In fact the rest of the other scope brands scored A+ and A even with complaints but Bushnell had apparently deliberately screwed over a lot of their customers come warranty time and Bushnell's lifetime warranty isn't even a real lifetime warranty like Vortex no questions asked free replacement that's why they get A+ according to the BBB. Feel free to search BBB for the scope brands to see for yourself. Feel free to Google "Bushnell warranty complaints" and "Bushnell customer complaints" it's rather unbelievably shocking how they use the term lifetime warranty and still keep on denying warranty claims and really outraged countless numbers of their own customers who previously trusted the brand which is completely opposite of how Vortex actually handles their own customers' warranty claims. Another interesting thing I found out is Bushnell's illuminated reticle scopes only come with a one year warranty on their Illuminated reticles and only one year on their rangefinders and electronic sights and red dots and previously thought they were at least for 5 years.

My best friend sent a scope back to Bushnell for warranty. It took them a year to send a replacement. He sent in a 50mm scope that was more of a target scope. They sent him a hunting scope with a 44mm objective and a thick reticle. They did call him first. He offered to pay more to get a target Match. Nope. Needless to say he won’t be buying another Bushnell. Nor will I. Or any of our friends at the range.
That sounds odd. I had to send a AR Optic 1-8x back two years ago. It took a couple months, but they replaced it with the exact same model. It’s not unheard of for manufacturers to replace a discontinued model with a different model, but the warranties almost always state that it’s at the manufacturer’s discretion.
Interesting. I've had a very different experience. I called on a TRS25 that broke a several month after the warrantee expired. They sent me a new one for $24 +shipping. I thought that was more than reasonable.
Caveat Emptor regarding Bushnell actually honoring their own written warranty. Do a search on the internet you will see a lot of pissed of former Bushnell customers who in fact had gotten screwed over by Bushnell when it came to actually honoring their warranty.
Back in stock in JUNE??? Rimfire season will be half over by then. That's disappointing, especially since retailers probably won't have them till fall.
