- Remember when the Chicago area had one of its first sub-zero outbreaks in the winter of 1985? Here is a compilation of weather reports on that event from the Weather Channel, NWS, Channel 7, Channel 5 and Channel 2. It was recorded from Mt.Prospect IL at the time. Ch-2's Harry Volkman makes an appearance, also the late Jerry Taft of WLS TV.
