I just loved the news anchor. During my uni years I had a job as a phone operator. I scared the prankster caller kids with authorities tracking the number too, and telling them it's gonna appear as an extra on the parent's phone bill. They hung up. I spent the rest of the afternoon sobbing with laughter.
At around the 5th clip I was like "Oh darn! Video will be over soon!" proving to myself at least that I could watch these all day long! Can't wait for Yearly Dose of Internet!
That shot at the end is very impressive, it's very tricky to take long exposures for stars with any artificial lights on without the lights completely blowing out the image, not sure how they did it but whatever they did worked fantastically! Maybe they took one photo at first and then turned off the lights and cut out the sky for the long exposure shots and stitched them together?
I think all the outside lights just are off. And I think its actually time lapse rather than long exposure. Long exposure would lead to star trails. Or it could be a mixture of both. Its definitely post processed, as that would be a couple hours worth of movement of the milky way. But you can see the one window sort of flashing, almost looks like someone watching TV inside so i dont think the foreground is just a static image. Its definitely gorgeous either way!
1:38 I have the same bugs where I live here in Brazil. Not only do they have those 2 spots on their back, but also when they fly, by opening their wings, they expose hidden areas of their body that also glow (brighter and bigger then those spots) so when they fly around at night they are REALLY shiny. Also, I’m pretty sure they’re actually bioluminescent, weather then just “glow in the dark”.
Nah the bridge to heaven is one that is thinner than human hair, and each one of us will have to cross it, if we succeed, then we are victorious, but if we fail, then a painful punishment is ours.
I worked as a delivery truck driver one Summer. You choose where and when you take a break. If fishing at a pond or jumping into a river for a cold swim on a hot day is how you chose to spend it, you're already winning. Good for him.

Could sleep as much as you want if you we're rich but whatever
I'd choose happiness, because then you could assume that you would have all the necessities that happiness entails, plus a little spending money for enjoyable things. Choosing money doesn't necessarily mean lots of money, it could literally be a dollar.

The fact it was from a seated position is quite amazing as well.
Agreed about the aim, and also his confidence in it. I'd probably be too paranoid about possibly hitting and/or breaking something I shouldn't to even take the shot.

The deeply intuned with pure, raw knowledge of human circadian rythym and using their own humanity (the knowledge of how much a human is a human) to deduce the habits and future locations of their victims, the vivid strength to put themselves in the shoes of many enemies at once, the stubborness, the focus, the tunnel vision. I wonder what they had to go through to know horribly lots about humans
Damn, that pilot being so calm is incredible, I would’ve panicked so badly, good thing I’m not a pilot
If you have 4 engines, one engine out isn't much of a problem.
@UnfaithfulEvil 🅥 I highly doubt that...
@UnfaithfulEvil 🅥 All anyone these days is steal clips for views what r u getting at
It's not "good thing you're not a pilot" it's "that's one of the reasons why you're not a pilot" :p
A lot of the training for pilots -- and a lot of jobs for that matter -- is not only to stay calm in an emergency, but to have emergency procedures learned to well that you don't have to think about them to do them. In that pilot's case, whether he was panicking or not, went through the steps in identifying the problem, and realized there was nothing to be panicked about.

As a fisherman i can understand a person who takes a chance for fishing. He is a hard working man and deserved a break. :)
Yeah and fishing is literally dope af
I don't know what the UPS rules are, but maybe he was done with deliveries and had a little time before the truck needed to be back...or maybe he's on a designated lunch break
Imagine being so thirsty for online attention that you resort to filming a guy minding his own business and enjoying a fish...I mean shit let's assume he wasn't on his break and he got fired for this, "nah all good I got 50 likes on my Insta"
@@alberttresslevic914 Theres no proof that he wasn't on his break though so I'm pretty sure they dont have enough proof to fire him, also it's not everyday you see people in delivery trucks just fishing on the side of a road so it makes sense he videos it, I don't see any hate toward the delivery guy, seems everyone likes it, how's that thirsty? You video something out of the normal that doesn't usually happen and thats considered thirsty?
@@alberttresslevic914 UPS has GPS on all their trucks that records speed, location, start ups, and stops. The recording wouldn't make a difference, they already know he's stopped. I can't imagine this guy would risk his job over a chance to catch some fish. It is almost a certainty that he had down time or a lunch break.

@@UngoogleableMan You need long exposure to see the stars on pictures.

They're called fireflies or lightning bugs. Very common in the US too.
