- i come from a fully muslim family and i got saved when I was 20 years old by Jesus Christ, so here’s my testimony.
i'm sharing my story to glorify God's work and goodness.

I come from a Sunni muslim family but fell into drugs and a homosexual lifestyle from age 13 till 27. God saved me instantly. I’ve kept it secret for so long, and kept praying for courage to tell my father. One day I told God “I am too cowardly to tell any of them”. And right off the bat, a feel hours later my dad asked me, completely out of the blue: “Are you a Christian?” and I told him yes.
Now I have yet to tell my siblings. My father forbade me to do so, but we all know what we must do. My message to you is, lift your family up in prayer. Ask for courage. Trust in Him and in the due time He will come through. He is ever faithful. Ever present. He will not forsake you. I know how tiring it is. But He is WITH YOU ALWAYS. His plan is perfect. Trust the process.

And the ONLY who can give life. Seek and you will find the truth. Otherwise you will die in your sins. For example, Genesis 18 of old testament. God appears to Abraham as a human being along with two angels. Abraham sees 3 humans. However, it was God and two angels who appeared as human. We understand that when we read Genesis 18 and 19 of old testament.
Now, just because God appeared as a human, he disappeared from existence? Of course not.
God reveals himself to his creation in two ways. To his physical creation that has the intelligence to know him, the Son.
To his spiritual creation, the Holy Spirit.
It is God himself who is revealing as the Spirit and the Son.

I was there too sister and still overcoming some challenges with family. I was Muslim who accepted Jesus as my lord and savior, when I couldn't hide anymore. I mustered the courage and said, "I can't hide anymore, no matter what".

I am an Ex-muslim too from Morocco and I know how hard it can be to leave Islam and the sense of loneliness you get from not being able to go to church or be a part of a christian community and so on... Hi…. Im still a muslim… my boyfriend introduced me to christ and i’ve been going to church or attend the sermon from zoom because im afraid of my family finding out. I live in indonesia so the people here are majority islam. I tell my aunt she critisize my reason as to why i feel like i want to change calling it a “basic reason” its tough because for me it meant a lot.
I want to change my religion but im scared of what my family could do. I love my bf but he is not the reason of why i want to change ever…. Because how can I live my life in fear of hell? The more i attend church the more i feel more right…. More accepted and more loved.

I also come from an Islamic background, I am of your age and even I hid from my parents that I was a Christian for many years. I told them about my faith last year and it wasn't easy. They are still not ready to accept me as a Christian and still want to believe that I am a Muslim. However, sometimes, for the Lord, we have to choose between family & the Lord or friends & the Lord. If you do not mind me sharing; the Sabbath, "..from even unto even, shall ye celebrate your sabbath." Lev 23:32 (KJV) which is sunset Friday to sunset Saturday, was "sanctified" or "קָדַשׁ" which means to 'set apart for holy use' Gen 2:3 "And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it..." (KJV), and thus Adam and Eve kept it holy. Sin is defined as transgressing or breaking any of the 10 commandments as per 1 Jo 3:4 "..sin is the transgression of the law." (KJV). So, when Satan had sinned, he actually broke the 10 commandments for indeed angels also have to keep them in heaven Psa 103:20 "Bless the LORD, ye his angels, that excel in strength, that do his commandments..."(KJV). Infact, the saints, described as those that "..keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus." (Rev 14:12, KJV), will keep the 10 Commandments when the new heavens and a new earth are created including keeping the Sabbath holy by e.g gathering to worship the LORD as per:
Isa 66:22-23 "For as the new heavens and the new earth, which I will make...it shall come to pass, that from one new moon to another, and from one sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, saith the LORD." (KJV).
Heb 4:9 "There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God." (KJV); The word 'rest' is translated from the Greek word 'σαββατισμός'
(Sabbatismos) - A Sabbath, Rest. The 7th day Sabbath still stands active today for all GOD'S people to observe.
I highly encourage to do a study on this, if in disagreement, so as not to 'end up coming short in the end' (if above the age of accountability) as per:

You're such a strong woman, my dear beloved. I am too a convert to Christianity, and my story matches so much with you.
I don't really have one big encounter or miracle with Jesus, but many small ones, which made me realize he was with me even when I didn't knew anything about him.
I was born in a very religious Hindu family, born in India. I, unlike you, knew nothing about Jesus, my dad forbade my mom to tell me anything about Jesus, but I knew I have something some connection with Jesus, which I never really had with I believe 3 million gods in hinduism, so I started learning about him, and as I learnt about him, he purified me, i stopped praying to hindu gods, when I was 16 that's when I was converted, tho I am not still baptized, and I am 20 now.
Also, I too madly fell in love with a boy, he was hindu, and I so desperately wanted him, I was 17 that time, to be honest to this day I love him, but I stopped chasing him, I too asked God to give him to me, many times I asked, many time I asked from God to let me see him, talk to him, spend time with him, and all but God saved me from that relation, got me out of it.
There's so much he has done for me which I can't even tell, but yes I do completely understand how you feel about not telling your parents about your conversion, even tho my parents knows I am a Christian, I told them, I still pray in secret, all I want to say in be courageous in Lord, he's always with you, and will protect you and fight for you, He will fight your battles, dear beloved I am everyday going to pray for you, I know it's truly difficult for you, and I will always keep you in my prayers. Do you plan to go to a better country like US or Europe for education or to settle down, you can be much safer there. And I am always praying for you.

The Begetter is the Father's Spirit (Rahim/Haq). Telling our parents that we are Christian can be difficult and so scary. When I told my parents I was a Christian I was going through a time in my life where I was so bitter with my parents. I told them I was a Christian with pride in my heart and I didn’t care what my parents thought or if it hurt them but I really wasn’t a Christian and God revealed to me that my actions weren’t aligned with His word. My parents were so upset to hear I was a Christian that they wanted to break ties with me but through that moment of “losing” them God taught me to be grateful for them and to love them. He completely changed how I felt about them. Our relationship is still rocky at times but God has mended our relationship in so many ways I never thought would be possible and He taught me what it truly means to follow Him. I would encourage you to tell them you’re Christian. It won’t be easy, following Christ isn’t easy but with the strength from the Lord anything is possible.

Funny thing about unconditional love is that no matter if someone doesn’t love you back the person giving has more than enough to continue pouring love. When “hating” someone or something I always reached a limit where I was emotionally drained and fed up. Through forgiving them and apologizing to them I felt like I should treat them better and understand them more and that I never felt it was enough. Through that action I also healed and learned to love without limit.
God gave you love for your parents to the point that even if they turned their back you would always be loving enough to replace their love with your own so you always felt reassured of your action to become Christian.

I know this is difficult to understand (and I guess we will never fully understand it).
The father, the son and the holy spirit/holy ghost are "three in one" - in some sense they are three "persons", but in another sense they are one god. How do we come to that?
We read in the bible, that the father is god (John 17:3, ...).
Jesus was prophezied being the son of god (Luke 1:35), he claims to be the son of god (Luke 22:70), was mocked by the Jewish leaders for claiming to be the son of god (Matthew 27:43).
Jesus claims to have existed before people existed - John 8:58 - god claimed the same thing. We also see Jesus and the Apostles claiming that Jesus is god.
* John 1:1-14 is an example. It is written a bit cryptically, but if you try to make sense of it, you will find out that "the word" is Jesus.
* In Titus 2:13, Jesus is called "great God and Saviour".
* In John 8:58 (already used above), Jesus purposefully calls himself "I am" JHWH. And the Jews wanted to stone Jesus (V59) since they understood what he was claiming by saying that.
How do we reconcile that with the claim throughout the bible that there is only one god? (eg. Mark 12:29, ...) Jesus claims to be one with the Father (John 10:30). In the end of Matthew 28, all three of them are listed in one go. (I purposefully skipped 1 John 5:7-8 since this is next to Mark 18:9-20 and John 7:53-8:11 one of the only historically not completely reliable passages of the New Testament.)
Thats quickly from the top of my head, with very minor&quick googling. I would have to look up more evidence that the holy spirit is god and part of the trinity - don't have more scripture at hand for that. (But generally there is not much written in the bible about the Holy Spirit.)
If christianity was true (thats a question for another time), the trinity makes the bible make sense (even though you can't fully comprehend it - but who can comprehend god?)
Btw: One of Jesus' prophezied names from Isaiah (7:14 - Immanuel) literally means "God with us". Its not just meant like god sees us from heaven and is compassionate. God took it word for word - he "became flesh" (John 1:14), became one of us, died for all our guilt AND he rose again! Thats how much he loves you and me!

Oh sister, my heart is breaking for you. I got saved from a muslim background at 19 years old. I felt so guilty for not telling my parents, and I felt like I was living a double life. I would still do the daily prayers at home, but on the inside, I would pray to Jesus. I was so scared of hurting my family because I loved them so much. At that time, I even loved them more than God., which I know now is idolatry. One day, I read 1 John 6-7 and immediately I felt called to walk in light and stop hiding. Although I believed in the Truth, I wasn't fully walking in it because I was lying to everyone. In full honesty, my decision to follow Christ broke my family. I was disowned, and hated by all. It was the hardest thing I've ever walked through, but God was so present every step of the way. Keep following Him. Put Him first in all things, and He will lead you one step at a time.

(Rev 14:12, KJV), will keep the 10 Commandments when the new heavens and a new earth are created including keeping the Sabbath holy by e.g gathering to worship the LORD as per:
