In my discussions and the photos I had seen of the room prior to my visit, I was amazed by how it was laid out. Once in the room the shape is really interesting and surprisingly very comfortable to be in! Something I am going to keep in mind for future projects. As you say, all the gear is definitely end-game. There is no shortage of processing and power in that equipment rack and projection system. The owner is incredibly happy with his decisions regarding this home cinema!
Thats great to hear! I have seen some photos and videos of their demo facility. It is incredibly impressive. It is on my list of places to visit. I will be sure to make a video when I eventually get around to visiting!
The space is an upstairs loft conversion, that is the reason for the angled side walls. The seating is something that the owner is going to change out, he just hasn't decided which ones to go for yet.
This home theater is beautiful indeed. While it may seem like there is a lot of processing in this room, it certainly works well together and produces a truly theater like experience! 😄🔊
For myself the only thing I like about this set up is the Audio/Video rack and the speakers being hidden. The carpet looks like it would emit to much light reflection from the projector and screen. The seating layout just throws me off single - double - double and brown for that room's colour scheme just seems out of place. All in all it doesn't matter what your room looks like it's how the movie experience is and I'm sure it's epic.
Hi Randy, certainly some great observations and design choices that you bring up. You will be happy to know that the carpet isn't as reflective in real life as it shows up on the photos and video. It is actually much darker in reality. (bearing in mind I had raised my exposure to film the video clips and taken multiple exposures, blended together, for the photos to showcase the room). The seating layout is so that the older kids can be on the seats and the younger kids can sit on bean-bags / fatsacks / blankets, etc to watch the movies. The actual seating might be replaced at a later stage though. The quality of the seating in the room currently is not as good as the owner would like. Joyfully as you know, once the lights are dimmed down, the room becomes less important and the experience is absolutely incredible. A real demonstration of what is possible when selecting the highest quality products available! 😄🔊
The AT Fabric was sourced by the UK by the company that designed and built the cinema. They have extensive history of using similar fabric on their projects. I am sure that the team carrying out the design work have certified the fabric they use for the projects.
This client discussed with me the differences between Sony specified by the AV integrator & the Barco Balder. He decided to chose the Balder & so the projector used in this room has been the Barco Balder since new.
We prefer to use the wide angle lens to showcase the full view of the room. This room is actually very big, so we feel that it does the room justice 👍🏻🔊
Very unique looking theater. The gear is all endgame.

Nice looking room and fantastic gear. I’ve heard a theater demo with Wisdom Audio speakers and I can tell you it sounded pretty freaking amazing.
Thats great to hear! Wisdom Audio speakers offer incredible performance. Where did you experience the demo?
@@mirroredgenetworks At ATL home theater main demo room. The theater is absolutely beautiful too.

Beautiful AV rack
Top-rate gear in an odd-shaped space
Ugly HT seating

Beautiful home theater but so much processing it's crazy

What AT fabric was used on the walls? It almost has the appearance of microsuede which isn't transparent that I know of.

I hate wide angle camera lens...makes a normal size room seem extraordinarily big...

Brilliant job guys. I'd better get my binoculars
Thank you, glad you enjoyed the video 😄
What iis the floor buddy carpet???🤔
The floor does indeed have a nice thick, soft carpet covering it!
