Pet Simulator 99 is not fun at all, I’ve played since release and there is absolutely no active grinding you can do besides trading. All servers even in trading plazas are just people afking and doing nothing (more common in main servers, not as many in trade plaza). Most of the updates are lackluster with the events and encourage afking all day everyday to participate in anything.
