- Project Moon has made as many masterpieces as they have games. Which surprisingly isn't a hyperbole. Any game they make I have immense faith in, because as time has gone on their games have only gotten better. So try out Limbus Company when it releases on the 27th of February. Based on Project Moon's previous track record it will be amazing.

I honestly can not believe how under the radar project moon is. This company has some of the most insane world building and game design ive ever seen and puts a lot of triple A companies to complete shame. I can only imagine the absolute masterpiece they would be able to create if they had something like Square Enix levels of budget behind them
@Grandiville Strong Yeah the best way to get exposure is probably UA-camrs playing it. They don't even need to play Lob Corp first, they could just start with Ruina since they would get things explained to them when Roland does. I hope PM will sponsor people to play it on their channels and streams, it would do them really good as barely anyone in the gaming space even knows any of the games exist.
TLDR: Ruina doesn't do enough explaining(so many people may be frustrated) and has quite a number of bugs. I didn't play lobotomy, so can't say anything about it.
I didn't play lobotomy, but I did complete Ruina, and what I want to say, is there is not enough explaining done in the tutorial section of the game. For example you never get to know that unused defensive dice in combat pages are left for unnoposed attacks. This was the one thing I remembered, as this was a thing a friend of mine explained to me. Also, for example, you get a tutorial for counter dice AFTER like 3 receptions since you first meet them.
Also the game actually has quite a lot of bugs, my friends called me a bug magnet, since they didn't encounter nearly a single one, but I had quite a dreadful experience. To list a few examples:
The defensive King of Greed's card, that you receive after destroying crystals not going to the character who destroyed them(but rather to the character who first damaged them, for some reason(this could be my fault for not reading carefully enough, but if I remember correctly, it says in the crystal description that it gives a combat page to the one who kills it))
Game softlocking during final fight in Chezed floor realization, if you didn't use all 5 special cards(it doesn't say anywhere that they dissappear after 1st turn, so I just wanted to wait and see what are the phases going to be, and then they just disappeared, all my librarians died, but the scenes continued to progress(funny thing is that xiao's burn passive continued to progress through the phases, until the phase where you had to stagger him))
Purple tear's stance swap not swapping your deck during that same fight(you still receive another passive, but your cards remain the same)
One completely random bug that I had and have no idea how it happened was when I was streaming game to my friends, and Gebura for no reason at all used "Onrush" when I didn't even have it in my hand.
Also, when you do Binah anomalies or realization, sometimes when Binah clashes with enemies, and you try to hit that dice of Binah(by unopposed attack), Binah will instead clash with your own teammate.
@@Aleksandr_Tararin uh, no idea when you played it, but It is really hard to find a bug in ruina now, i have around 200 hours playing last version and found 0 bugs, also there is a manual where you can learn all dice mechanics

I think it's good that the game is niche. It has a soul that massive games do not have.
Really glad to see people making so many videos about Project Moon recently. It makes me happy that English-speaking fans enjoy how we've brought the games over to this anglophone audience so far and I hope we make you happy with Limbus Company!
Minor revision to note though: Lobotomy Corporation's English retranslation/revision was done by us for free after we fan-translated the Artbook (given that the artbook covered a large bulk of the text already present in the game in some form), but they did pick us up for Library of Ruina and now Limbus Company.
(Also unfortunately we're not fancy enough to be another company, just two guys working hard at bringing these games over!)
Not only that, I feel PM respects the players/customers more than most.
Type-Moon has... Well, let's just say western fans STILL rely on fantranslations for certain important works.

Reading Wonderlab, DD, Levithan, the ego designs, the story, the world building in LoR WAS PHENOMENAL. Its just such a good setting that PM has set up for us to delve into, I cannot wait. The concepts of things like colors, fixers, distortions, I've been foaming at the mouth since it was teased.
I really hope they don't do story-locked events like in FGO (complete chapter x to play event y), because knowing Project Moon, I'm eventually gonna have to fight a boss that I'm gonna be stuck in for weeks.
The gacha seems to be for Identities (movesets, think Ruina's key pages) and EGOs, so it's not just drip, it determines your resistances, weaknesses, HP, sanity, your attacks, and so on for each of the characters. I just saw the section on the gacha so I wanted to mention that bit

Also, other than Seasonal EGOs, which may be sold separately, you might have to grind those EGOs to get them.
biggest issue with limbus so far is the delays, but i trust that it was to make it not awful
To be fair it's one 2 month delay so not the worst compared to some other game delays
Ngl, I was hoping it’ll be delayed more. PM makes great games but they’re known to be quite under-optimized because they’re literally a bunch of college students.

While I am obviously excited about this, one thing does worry me. And it has made me bench many other gachas.
Seasonal Plots. I'm a gaming guy, I swear, but sometimes life just gets in the way. There are days I can spend playing and then there are months where its simply impossible. And most infuriating of all is having an energy system where I can only play like 30 minutes a day and then it's either cashing out or eating dirt.
That means there's a lot of content I simply won't be able to enjoy simply due to time constraints. And considering PM games are kind of "Story First, Gameplay Second" this means I'm losing out on a big chunk of the usual enjoyment I get from the game.
And I'm no whale so of course playing competitively is simply out of the question. (Project Moon will achieve heaven if they actually make a competitive gacha that doesn't rely on giving my bank account to satan to get the most overpowered unit of the month)
Anyway, here hoping this doesn't become another SinoAlice in my book. I'm still boarding the train full of expectation!
Seasons have been stated to last 3-4 months, so hopefully you'll have plenty of time.
At least the energy system is a lot more forgiving than other games. It only depletes energy if you win the battle
I'm pretty sure we won't be having PvP gameplay. From what we've seen so far, it seems to me that it's just gonna be PvE (not saying it's all gonna be easy tho), so there isn't really gonna be any competitive play, unless you wanna try and compete with people to see how fast you can clear a level or how high you can take your damage
Watched the story of lobcorp on youtube and recently reached urban nightmare in ruina. Lobcorp is too hard for me.... but I love Ruina to the ground... Even with the difficulty spike. One of the best things ever played. Now i just found out about tjis one here with your video. The worldbuilding is absolutely insanely good.

Been keeping an eye on this since I saw the first announcements. Love how some of these characters look.
Haven't gotten to play the other PM games yet but I've heard nothing but great things about them so I'm pretty hyped.

On the topic on the gacha only having Identities for the 12 sinners you already have, and no new characters (that we now of). I feel is a genius move. Think FGO, there is 2 kinds of players, those who roll for the newer waifu, and those who save and roll everything when the waifu they already have get a new version or skin. In the games that add new characters every update you have to pray your waifu is popular so you can see it a bit more in the story, but with Limbus system, you don't have that worry, the character you like will always show up, maybe you have to wait a bit but the number of units is so limited they will always show up in the story and have importance, and that will make it when they have a new Identity in the gasha you feel more inclined to roll for it. And for those who already played L Corp and Ruina if they have an Abno or Organization Drip they like they will see it in the gacha eventually.
Knowing Project Moon, I feel like they’re working on 3-5 different identities/EGO at any given moment, lol

Okay so I'm pulling the breaks on this vid at when you talk about the story because I'm still playing Lobotomy Corporation (yeah I've got a lot of Project moon to catch up on) but from what I've seen this game and video is giving me hype and hope in equal measure.
This has the potential to give Punishing Grey Raven a run for the title of my favorite gacha of all time
Strong aesthetic, deep weird lore, protagonist that looks like a Dali painting with issues...
I'm equally curious and trepidatious.
As one of the Xbox players who came close to beating Star of the City when Library of Ruina was on Game Pass, I'm going to board the hype train to finish what I started on a different perspective and hopefully beat the game while also getting to the true ending
I'm already hyped. I at least hope that PM can get enough dough to fund their next games and improve the quality.
What i hope is.. limbus will had pity + spark gacha system.. which is extremely f2p friendly and rewarding but... Im down with reasonable spark rolls too... And i hope the premium currency for the gacha is reasonably farmable...and i hope premium pass and regular pass doesn't give you day and night different kind of rewards......
But yeah im still hype for the stories... I know it just my speculation i wish when they make next game with connection to LoR(continuation)... I hope they made a game mode (in limbus) where you got library invitation as gauntlet or tower or some kind of challenge... I want to fight my boy roland again 😂. I know the direction that limbus wont take previous cast.. but well its theirs to change.
hope they get Mili to work on some of the soundtracks the trailer for limbus company (in hell we live) goes hard anything Mili makes goes hard i have great expectations for this game.

Mili is confirmed to be working on more tracks. At least one (Other than in Hell we Live Lament) Is ready for launch.
Really fucking hard to be hyped then your favourite series gets turned into foken gatcha, you know, that genre of games known for being predatory cashgrabs. Im still mostly optimistic, because its PM we are talking about, but much, much more catious than i was with LoR
If the game is a buggy glitchy mess I can accept it because I heard that happened with ruina also it is their first venture into moblie
Part of me is really excited for that project moon difficulty cliff, but I am worried (if it’s a thing) that the die hard gacha players will drop it the moment there’s a bit of difficulty. But I cannot wait for this game to drop
What I worry about, is that there will be a Difficulty Cliff, but instead of getting good you could Gacha your way past it.
That’d really be a downgrade from the previous games hard gate keeps (Day 49 or Xiao)
I've been waiting for Limbus a long time now, and I gotta say, I got that trust in PM. I don't care about the gacha aspect that much, but I'm sure it'll be cool.
Though, the gameplay sounds amazing, and the fact you have to strategies to make a team work with the identities, passives and E.G.Os is a fun twist! Also the fact they are bringing back a way to properly experience the story of the abnormalities in some form is great.
I recall being told once that the slime girl abnormality was created by a backer or something, so I don't think that one can be entirely put on Project Moon's creative choices.
I'm definitely very excited for Limbus, as it will be my first true gacha, but I'm still holding my breath on the off chance they mess something up.

Now i'm not a fan of gacha games as a whole but this might be my first exception. Specifically because its from project moon, and they got some cracked ass games that i'm working towards 100%ing
Also based on the examples given so far, the story looks to be fully voiced which is a huge plus imo.
Personally, i have 1 braincell and reading lines and lines of dialogue is tedious as hell when theres no stimulus.
Sure I don’t mind being hyped for this game if it makes you happy 😊

I'm gonna be onest,the only gacha with Chibi character design I liked was Guardian Tales because of the comedic and funny jokes story.
But to me at least,it really doesn't fit in a game with a more serious dark and gritty storyline

East Asian game developers not making a game with extremely good, complex, engaging, intriguing story but have gacha as it's primary monetization method challenge (IMPOSSIBLE!!!!)

One thing i feel that Limbus will do better than most gacha game would be storytelling most gacha game i play like arknights, Genshin (even tho i quit long time ago), fgo all of these game has incredible story but the problem to me is that i have a hard time investing in the story of most of these game (especially fgo) because 90% of the time i just get so bored and find myself not interest in the story or get attaches to any of the character whatsoever that isn't to say the story is bad but more or so that i just can't find myself to invest in the story of the game (Arknights is an example because while the later chapters has been great the early chapter just doesn't really leaves a good impressions in my opinion)
PM however is great when it comes to worldbuilding and storytelling because of the way they explore the city and it's denizens through it's character, subtle interactions, dialogue or simply the gameplay they really nails it when it comes to creating an amazing setting for the story to unfolds, the gameplay can sometime gets boring or repetitive at the time but that is also a good thing as the later fights in ruina is nothing short of pure hype and emotional turbulence it's like chainsaw man but it's a korean rpg card game that takes place in the korean equivalent of Ohio when it picks up it hits really hard the Roland recepion was nothing short of incredible the way the background changes to represent his emotions and each major moments that happened in his life that brought him to this point was poetic even his card references the previous guest to really hit you in the feels it was just a great way to concludes his character without killing him (unless it's the bad end) so i just hope they do a great job at telling the story in this game as well

Dude I swear if people had to actually manage that thing for like 30 in game days you will go so crazy it wouldn't even be funny, the physical pain when the meltdown hits them is just aeugh, especially earlier on when you can't just tank the repression and deal with the suck

i had a lot of issues with ruina, something about how esoteric and pointlessly vauge many of the plot points were, plus the lategame fights realllly dropped in the fun factor
that said im still a limbus believer, i think its gonna be amazing
