@averyhotvideo Depends on the gearing really. I have a 9 hp diesel Enfield which has seen 64 mph by gps on a slightly downhill stretch with a 19 gearbox sprocket. But realistically, about 55 mph by gps on the level in calm conditions with a 17 sprocket is more representative. Cruise speed is between 45 & 50 mph. Mpg @ 45 mph on mine is 155 mpg. 165 mpg @ 40 mph.
@averyhotvideo Enfield milometer has rated speed up to 100 mph, but as far as I know, 70-75 mph is tried by most of the owners in petrol model (93 mph is the highest I have heard on diesel). For better performance of engine and control on the bike, you shouldn't go beyond 40 kmph. This is a cruise bike. So, plan for trip across your continent (like Che Guerra), rather than a drag race.
Well, the text overlay on the video itself says approximately 72mph (115km/h). That's on a slight downhill with the rider lying themselves as flat as possible of course... If the max power is 9hp as many seem to state for their enfield diesels in other comments, I'd expect it to top out at around 60mph (~95km/h). It's not quite enough for the magic 100k, especially on the aero nightmare that is a "naked" roadster. Bear in mind the official speed limit for bikes in India is a blanket 50k... :)
@vish2bnice 40 kmph is only 25 mph! We can do a lot better than that! On my 406 cc 9 bhp diesel Enfield, I generally cruise @ 45 mph by sat nav, getting around 155 mpg at that speed. For economy rides, I find a true 40 mph is just nice for reasonable arrival times, achieving 165 mpg. I could hit 200 mpg @ 30 mph, but you are really vulnerable to other traffic on main roads, & it's difficult to stop your attention wandering on back roads.
Wat a lovely machine!!! Looks and sounds great!!!

I crave one of those!
That is sweet!
115 KPH, very good. And what can you get for fuel mileage?

@hiyadroogs Oh ya, i meant 40 mph. It was a type "40 KMPH" on enfield is just beginning of the top gear.
18 or 19 tooth gearbox sprocket? Is Changfa diesel good?
Engine HP sir?
