      You're a human. A human that has a genetic.... inbuilt program to play music.
      But we don't let you play your instrument. We let you sit in a cage and call you nice names, then feed you titbits as you die of depression.
      That's sad.
      Of course it's enjoyable. These guys are letting the birds live their life.
      And god help it if they're man enough to possess the testosterone to appreciate an apex predator at it's finest.
      I want yo see a Cheetah on safari run down a gazelle. Not because I'm a psycho... because I love nature without the fluffy safeguarding

    greet stuff but i feel if you let the full speed motion of the event happen then go slow motion there will be more of a dramatic and impressive look to it. Leaving sound in is a matter of taste but if you let it play out then do the replay i think it will show how really impressive the action is. just my opinion. love the channel

    These hawks seem to have a weakness when it comes to landing and taking off again. It looks like it takes too much energy for them to immediately take off again after missing the rabbit. These rabbits are clearly taking advantage of this weakness, goading the hawk to pounce on them at a seemingly fatigued moment.

    Wouldn't Goshawks be more effective if less spectacular? I feel they are more skilled flying low and doing tight turns than eagles. Also accelerate faster from launch, and this kind of hunt is more similar to their natural way of hunting. Eagles are not really made for falconry, they can be used, but I guess they need a lot more space and a high place to really put themselves up to speed. They feel limited on this setup for what they can do as a wild animal. We don't have their eyesight to be able to see a prey at a mile distance or more like they do, and then use that distance and some height to drop on the prey at 120 mph plus. Beautiful as nothing else though.

    • @HJB._
      @HJB._ 2 роки тому

      You are absolut right. I saw a "Falkner" in Germany. His Goshawk took 4 canin in 1 hour. The Goshawk flew only 5 attacks! After each catch the Goshawk became min. 5 minutes to cool down while sitting on the canin.
      All that in an area overflowing with rosebushes.

    I don't get it -- what am i missing? You should be training Hawks and Falcons for this, no? I Love Eagles; they are Majestic, but they loft higher than most hawks tend to (upwards of a Mile high) , and swoop in for the silent swift kill typically, don't they? Hares (et al) never see them coming (typically), no? Perhaps i'm mistaken, and i'll gladly accept that. The reason i say Hawks and Falcons, is they are smaller (in many cases much smaller), more maneuverable. Eagles need to flow with the currents, and many Hawks do too..Falcons, being smaller tend to even hit smaller birds from above them, while looking down. Great eyesight on all of these majestic predators

    • @bull-xtv
      @bull-xtv  2 роки тому +1

      UK’s Hares are some of the smartest and fittest Hares in the world.
      They’ve been coursed by dogs for centuries, hunted by birds of prey since they were young and only the fittest survive.
      Generation after generation of survival and you get an idea of today’s English Brown Hare.
      It takes a good fit eagle to catch a Hare off the glove.

    Hunting isnt an sport. How can you get joy from killing animals not for food or fur but for entertaining? Hunters are such disgusting human beings.

    • @SR-ck8gu
      @SR-ck8gu 2 роки тому +3

      Falconry is done to catch animals for food, for the falconer and for the bird. Also, it's a quicker death than the hares would get from a wild predator; the falconer makes sure to go and kill the prey quickly, whereas a wild predator doesn't do that. Additionally, many areas have too few predators, due to the actions of people who are now dead, and not hunting prey animals to keep populations down would mean their populations explode, strip the ecosystem of food, and die.

      @@dubistverrueckt How does "hunting animals often means killing them more humanely than they would otherwise die, and hunting is important in some places" in any way equate to "hunters are creeps"?

    • @dubistverrueckt
      @dubistverrueckt Рік тому

      @@SR-ck8gu your rationalizations are proof that your empathy is damaged or missing. Calling the vicious persecution of the frightened little hare in this video “humane” is beyond the pale. There’s nothing natural in this situation since in nature so many eagles guided by humans would not exist. If even then the hare keeps getting away, this means that in true nature an eagle would never catch one. Only in such cruel circumstances is the hare caught. You applaud 👏 this because you lack empathy. This lack of empathy is what makes one a creep.

    • @SR-ck8gu
      @SR-ck8gu Рік тому +2

      @@dubistverrueckt You need to calm down a little and go outside. That hare is a prey animal; SOMETHING is going to kill and eat it. It's not going to die of old age, because it's a small wild prey animal. Hunting it, in order to eat it, is not "vicious persecution" any more than farming chickens is genocide. And if you want to actually convince anyone of your points, you need to learn that insulting people isn't going to make them want to listen to you. Go touch grass.
