This is a very good comparison!! This also shows how important weapon passives can be for the dmg of a character. R5 lithic spear is just too good for a 4star weapon, but ofc it is not even that easy to refine and have enough liyue characters that synergize well with our boy Xiao.
I have only R3 lithic and it's really good, even with only 2 liyue characters on the team. But since I got pjws today (I'm still so happy), I'll be giving it to xiao to replace blackcliff and give lithic spear to zhongli permanently
For the new artifact that's for xiao, PJWS would be the best because of the high base atk and all the atk% bonus from the artifact and the weapon... I also tested this so ye
I think it might depends on artifacts substats, etc coz I have R2 PJWS, R1 Homa and R1 Calamity and I tested them all. The outcome is that the Calamity did more somehow
This is a very nice and accurate comparison. If you have vermilion set , i suggest using pjws if you can. Both of them brings up the atk which is great for xiao who has high base attack. I personally don't prefer homa since I have to keep my hp under 50% . I do feel anxious 😓
Tip: You can go Crit Dmg Circlet with Crit Dmg weapon. Xiao's ascension stat is crit rate, and if you can get some decent crit rate rolls its doable. I have a 70% crit rate with 235% crit dmg xiao using black cliff. If I use Jade spear I would have like 93% crit rate with 185% crit dmg.
Keep in mind that Xiao already have very limited team variety. He doesn't have dedicated support. What I mean by dedicated is a character who really synergize with him very well. Like Gorou - Itto or HuTao - XQ ( XQ is broken, I know). My point is a character that doesn't have any significant drawback when you pair them with Xiao. And with Lithic spear you put more team variety limitation.

@@cigarafterkiss Not really. I used blackcliff on him until I pulled Homa. And as long as you don't use him against single bosses blackcliff is quite good. The only characters that I can say have amazing 4* options for dps are Albedo, Xingqiu and maybe Raiden.
I got him last night and had 20 wishes leftover, so I pulled one wish on the weapon banner just for kicks and got the PJWS XD. Already got him and the weapon to lvl 70 (I'm only AR 38). It's INSANE how much more damage he does compared to my lvl 70 Razor with his snow-tombed starsilver.

If you have got a featured 5 star on weapon banner before then it is 33.3% pwjs 33.3% other featured 5 star and 33.3% chance of standard 5 star. If you have pulled a standard 5 star before then you have 50% chance of getting pjws and 50% of getting other featured 5 star. Also, getting a specific 5 star weapon on standard banner is really really rare.

I think calamity xiao is could be 2 glad 2 shime i gues (For this video, i recommend vermilion for calamity xiao) Calamity have massive base attack, so how much found attack% on ur artf. U gain more attack than the other weapons jade spear like a 640 attack or something i dont remember well. We can calculate with this formula; ((Character base attack + weapon base attack) +((character base attack+ weapon base attack) x Attack % u have) and - (character base attack+ weapon base attack )) Shortly i wanna say when base attack is higher, xiao ll get more attack on %attack substats. So vermilion and 2 glad + 2 shime is best for calamity. And calamity passive gives u so much attack. This video is unfair for calamity xiao. I use calamity. My xiao has 3k attack with calamity and vermilion ( even bad substats has more than 2 glad + 2 Shime) my attack goes 3850. With no buff. Rate 60 dmg 150. I hit around 50k. Calculate example(random numbers): Xiao base attack 800 Calamity 700 Xiao has 1500 attack, if u have %10 attack %, u have 1500.110/100= 1650 attack. Xiao : 800 attack Jade winged : 600 800+600=1400 U have %10 attack again. 1400.110/100= 1540

i've been using deathmatch since 1.5, and i got lithic on 2.7 and that's when i realized deathmatch/blackcliff is overrated asf. I'm using R1lvl 90 lithic and can dish out 33k solo, and 55k buffed with 2 stack of lithic passive (xiao + xiangling), TTDS(sucrose), Bennet max ascend lvl 80/90, c5 lv12 burst, Aquila favonia ascend 5 80/90, and noblesse oblige. my xiao uses 2pc glads, 2 pc shime. if in case you got skyward spine from standard banner, it's a great alternative for lithic, because of those juicy ass ER.

death match best 4 star becuz it was r1 rest all 4 star was r 5 and it's pretty much impossible to get r5 blacclif plus no one pulls weapon banner as a f2p so many might not have r5 lithic so it's worth getting death match
I use Vermillion set. Skyward R1 crit80% critdmg168% atk2250 I can do 35k per plunge. When I use full buff team and food I can do 100k per plunge. I waiting homa my stat is great I will do 130k++ damage per plunge when I get it Xiao C0 10/7/10

I got 80/200 on xiao with similar build.. I use blackrift.. Its hell to build with crit stat on all arti😭 at least i have the standard 2k with 80/200
but isn't the advantage of jade spear the ability to use more crit dmg and get more crit dmg rolls only on artifacts , leading to more overall dmg
With those builds you will still do more DMG with jade spear
