You have to admit though, he did (along with all of Red Bull racing) had some pretty damn good paint schemes
TheGallopingGhost Gaming
Agreed
Also I think if Red Bull continued into gen 6 cars they would’ve had some success.
@@jamesgentry13 no not really, they had a bunch of poles and won with brian vickers and kasey kahne
Maybe if his name was Max he would of ran faster.
Ultra-cool named drivers never work out in general. Remember Lake Speed? Or Buckshot Jones? There's another one, but I can't think of him.
man Stenhouse dumped him in that ARCA race
Now he has resorted to wrecking people on iracing lol
Logan Palmer not life. It was for like a week when it happened lol. He’s been back for a while
At least he's turned out to be quite a good rallycross driver. 3 straight GRC titles.
Have you considered doing a series on the teams that are no longer in nascar, but were at one time contending for race wins/championships, and their fall from grace?
Morgan mcclure or robert yates would have to be top of that list (at least within last 30 years)
would have been cool to see what Scott Speed could have done if he got a few years of Truck or Xfinity in before jumping into cup
NASCAR bust: Christian Fittipadi
James Gentry not really. It was the same car that Bobby Labonte brought to a couple podium finishes. It was the driver not the car, he wasn't even good in the Busch Series
Jaman Smith it wasn’t exaaaaactly the same car. Mickey Loomis and others came with Bobby Labonte.

Wow, Stenhouse was even wrecking people back in the day.
A very rare type of driver, an F1 and NASCAR bust
Dude is a phenomenal rally cross driver
I still can't get over how within the same weekend, Scott Speed managed to wreck both his teammate in the weekend's next race, and his car owner from the weekend's previous race.
Scott Speed is a world-class talent, but once Red Bull went away he was done in NASCAR. Met him and Tanner Faust in Global Rally a couple years ago, really really nice guy, he's a unique character that's for sure.
Scott speed. Such an ironic last name
Love your videos, just found these today, my one day off. As a mechanic and NASCAR fan, this is great. Absolutely entertaining.
Scott speed didn't have alot of speed
You're only as good as the equipment you're in in cup and F1 he was in junk equipment in both series
@@jamesgentry13 in F1 he was consistently outqualified and outpaced by his teammate, which is pretty bad especially when your teammate is a crap driver who keeps wrecking his car out.
@@deeznoots6241 He was quite good in ARCA and in the Truck series though.
@@deeznoots6241 In F1 he really wasn’t outpaced that much by Liuzzi, in their only full season together, their average positions for races they finished were around 11.92 for Scott Speed and 11.85 for Vitantonio Liuzzi, they both finished 13 races. While Liuzzi was very slightly higher in this regard and he got the only point for Toro Rossi that season, to say he consistently outpaced Speed is just plain wrong
NASCAR Busts: Danica
Red Bull Racing was really picking it up when Vickers was still there in the 83 and Wallmindinger was in the 84. Vickers even won a race and almost won the Coke 600. They came from the 83 not even qualifying, to the 83 being locked in and running great and the 84 running okay. I feel like the owners gave up on AJ way too quick.
Shock, Ricky Stenhouse Jr causing a crash... I am super surprised! *I think the sarcasm is clear here*
Really wish you included his full story with his rally cross success and his iracing encounters lol
NASCAR Bust: Buckshot Jones
I would say Jerry Nadeau but I feel so bad for him. Jeff Green? Dario Franchitti (Pains me to say that)? Brian Scott?
I have heard the Dario in Nascar was just to get out of his contract in Indy cars because he didn't like Danica and Marco Andretti and wanted run for Ganassi instead
Just found your channel. I’m hooked bro
Wrecky Spinhouse at it again
I love it when he tried to pass 3 cars on the outside at Martinsville.
I love you bust videos. It would be cool if you did what ifs and in you bust videos talk more. Just a suggestion anyways love your videos keep up the good work
love this channel!
So you tell me he got the Helmut Marko treatment twice, in two different types of racing?
Bad Seasons: Brad Keselowski - 2013.
I thought Kes was gonna get fired, he was so terrible. Then he broke his ankle and won like 3 of the next 5 races. Weird career
Scott Speed must really like Red Bull.
It's bullshit that stenhouse dumped Speed like that. Since it's such a small track it absolutely killed him
Did u do Casey Mears? He drove for CGR when they were good, Hendrick Motorsports, and finally, RCR. Pls do one of him
At least that 82 car looked cool, I have the diecast lol
What Crash did you get the thumbnail from?
Keep in mind that most of Speed's career was spent with Redbull in their secondary car. Vickers was a stud, and still was driving with the team for a while before he became acceptable. And even then he only reached a top points standing of about 12th. I don't think Speed was ever given great equipment while in the Cup series, and add that to being a young driver promoted too early like you said, I think Speed was just one of those slow go or go homer guys that had the money to race every weekend.
Bad seasons: Dale Earnhardt 1992
NASCAR Busts: Danica Patrick?
So Wrecky Shithouse has always been a problem
Nascar Busts: RedBull Racing needs to happen!!!
Scott Speeds into the wall
He should have been in Busch longer. Didn't help with the team he was in.
Donald Belland He was never in Xfinity but ok. Guess that proves your point further.
He also flamed out in his only attempt to run the Indy 500.
Its safe to say u can start working on Stenhouse's bust video lol
"Change my tires."
What about Dave Blaney during Bill Davis racing , rcr and then bill Davis then tommy Baldwin racing
Scott speed did finished in the points in formula 1 in 1 race but a penalty caused the points to be taken away
I watch formula 1 since 1992
Anyone else notice a lot of nascar busts have the name Scott? 🤔
The red bull cars looked great at least. Especially the silver.
He was my favorite driver in 2008-2010
So was driving around Montoya just asking to get put in the wall? just about every race I ever saw when he race he was putting someone in the wall.
How many busts Travis Kvapil, AJ Almendinger, Reed Sorenson, Juan Pablo Montoya, Sam Hornisch.
Rushed too sun to the Cup.
Aaaaaaand now he is on Subaru Rally Team USA's rallycross team!
Not gonna lie I kinda miss those Red Bull cars. Always felt like they could've been a really damn good team.
In F1 circles, I don't think Scott Speed was as bad as they said he was. Yes, they joked about his very name, but he was able to beat or match his team mate on the day that matters, Sundays. It was a pity that he left in acrimonious circumstances, where apparently his team boss, Franz Tost, got quite confrontational with him, as he was (for better or worse) a character. In other words, there was never a dull moment with him around
Scott Speed was NOT a character. Not one memorable moment in F1 except for swearing at David Coulthard. The most monosyllabic generic answers ever in interviews. Zero results and nobody cared anyway.
@@milkdud0
I’m a North American. Scott Speed was useless. So everything you just said is wrong. What a surprise.
@@milkdud0
Being American doesn’t change the fact that Scott Speed was a worthless driver with the personality of a potato. He was American but couldn’t even answer questions in proper English.
He made Michael Andretti seem interesting and lively! 😂
How can someone be a bust in Mid pack or worse equipment?
Scott Speed did just about as as well as AJ Allmendinger in the same ride and we know how AJs career turned out after Red Bull. AJ got opportunities where Scott didn't
Well Scott ending up on red bull coming back to leavine family and it all failed
You could do a nascar busts on Red Bulls nascar program
Scott Speedless - Michael Mrucz
He raced against Jacques Villeneuve and Juan Pablo Montoya in F1 2006 and NASCAR Indianapolis 2010.
To be completely fair he didn’t have to best equipment if F1, though he still should’ve been able to score
I think he could have done better but luck wasn’t always on his side either. Added with Red Bull’s extremely cut-throat young driver system, as well as a young Sebastian Vettel waiting on the sidelines. Although he probably isn’t world champion material, i think he could definitely have had a decent F1 career if he was given a better chance.
He once said to me about Jeff Gordon:
"He was good until good drivers came along"
Scott's always been a joke. Can't even win in racing simulators, so he goes and tries to wreck people there too.
His opinion isn't worth a coop of chicken shit.
I knew there would be a bust video on him

Death by Wrecky Spinhouse...
Sad
Wrecky Spinhouse
I actually had to check if I was watching a Top15’s video
Your voice reminds me of top15s
Well shit, this is the same shit he got in trouble for on iRacing
Just some ideas for bad seasons!
1. Tony Stewart - 2015 (28th)
2. Denny Hamlin - 2013 (23rd; one win & four missed races)
3. Kurt Busch - 2012 (25th; one missed race)
4. Joey Logano - 2011 (24th)
5. Dale Jr. - 2009 (25th)
6. Dale Jarrett - 2006 (23rd)
7. Terry Labonte - 2004 (26th)
I honestly probably only remember him because of his name. Which is too bad he had the perfect name for marketing if he had been a success. A lot like another perfect name in the sport of hockey, the goalie Jonathan Quick, which is what being a goalie is all about, quick reactions and reflexes. Except he helped the Los Angeles Kings win two championships in 2012 and 2014 so he lived up to his name.
I'm not even mad at Scott for that incident with the 99. Ricky Stenhouse Jr. STILL makes his career on wrecking serious contender cars. He's a talentless POS and I'm glad the 17 will be getting a probably better driver next season.
At least he ran the beat Red Bull scheme
"I am *_not_* speed"
Scott Speed just got rushed and Red Bull Racing management was obviously suspect as well.
1:55 YEET
Bad Seasons: Kasey Kahne (2005) classic case of the sophomore slump.
Toledo Speedway needs to host Trucks/Xfinity. Hell, I wouldn't mind see the big boys visit that track.
I don’t find Scott Speed a bust of a driver who is underrated in performance
NASCAR Bust: Cole Whiit
Bad Seasons- Ricky Stenhouse Jr. 2014!
Nice to see a NASCAR bust be successful in another serious/sport. Speed is the reverse of Pastrana (kinda). :)
Bryan Clauson.. he failed out of nascar then died back in the sprint cars :( same with Jason Leffler and Dave Steele
Subbed
scott all out of speed
Firing AJ for this dude was ridiculous.
Scott Speed is racing rally cross now and he his actually really really good
Gotta say a lot of what happened to Scott wasn't his fault, RBR rushed him to Cup and then got rid of him as he was turning his career around and trying to shake the bad luck that haunted him.
He's damn goodnat rallycross though
I guess what we learned here is... If your name is Scott... You're screwed
Stenhouse deserved that dump.
SinikkaL yeah I know Stenhouse wrecking him because he’s a crybaby
Danicant made sure his ARCA dump wasn’t his last...
SinikkaL kinda looks like Kenseth, Logano too. Doesnt it
If anyone has ever deserved dumping, it was Stenhouse right then.
@@NonUser881 Stenhouse isn't a crybaby like Kyle B, Harvick, and the spoiled dillon bros
