Hey do you know how to get the speech sequence working? (Is there a trigger for it? if so where?) (Yes I have the correct ID but I don't know if it saves it)
I ended up using the spin attack idea on my level which has lots of lava and fire traps. Because Jetpack hammer bots are the cheapest fire hammer they are used a lot in earlier stages for my level. I gave them a spin attack which similar in principle to your one. It's on a loop too. But at the end of the animation it has a sort of blank part where the upperbody is no longer manually animated that acts as a 4 sec cooldown where the AI can use its normal attacks before the spin attack comes back. It looks really natural too with the way the spins speed up until a climax before slowing down. I think in bronze I will make the animation stop the enemy from moving when the spin reaches max speed and make it look like he ends up losing balance and falling over, in silver its like just the attack on 4sec cool down, and then make faster ones for harder difficulties. The only issue I have with it is that the upper body animations do not cancel when kicked so the legs go side ways as if he fell down but the body stays upright and keeps spinning. I will try doing the same thing but from the torso instead of the spine to see if that looks better when kicked down, but I think I will just have to deal with the derp.

tbh one of the easiest level editor implemented in any games ! the animation system is easy to take on... one of the best game out there ! keep it up :D

Since I was trying to make a mini-boss fight using animations, and I made a giant sword thingy, which in order to animate I would have to rotate and move at the same time which "detaches" all the objects in the transition between the movement, which wouldn't happen if it was just one object.

P.s. if this does happen, can you make it where it takes energy bar, but can not happen without 2 legs?

Chapter 5 is coming... not soon. The intro cutscene is basically finished but that’s about it, You can play chapter 5 in it’s current state in the experimental branch of the game but there’s only like a minute of content at the moment.
I want to offer some ideas for the game. Please add 2 types of blasters - shock and normal( as in Star wars). Usual will be obtained by passing a special test, where there will still be enemies with these weapons. And the shock blaster will be obtained for passing the test with a normal blaster. I also ask you to add 3 types of grenades - the usual( which the spider throws), a shock grenade that will stun robots in radius, and a fire grenade that will ignite everyone in a radius
Clone drone in Super smash bros. Think about it, it may work if this becomes apart of Nintendo. I can just picture the trailer saying: “The human enters the smash zone!” Cmon, guys. We gotta make this happen.
Sounds like you need to check the "Manual Animation" checkbox as part of the animation. Be sure to uncheck it by the end as well to avoid the character getting stuck. :)
I have a question DOBOROG can you please do so that the robot would not be destroyed if you lose your right hand and if the robot would lose its right hand then it continues to hold the opuzhie in the left of course this applies to the sword and spear. and I wrote all this to ask whether there will be such changes in the battle or everything will remain as it is.
doborog pls help me, i dont know what i'm doing wrong, the animation wont start and what happens is When i press play to start testing my level, all that happens is, when i walk into the trigger that should start my animation, it just makes my bot walk and start attacking me, but it has no leg movement until it falls. Late reply, but a mod does exist on Mod Bot where you can be a randomized Bot at the start of a game...along with randomizing everything else. It's aptly called "The Randomizer Mod" by Gorakh.

Would be cool but the game would become less unique, more like an overstuffed mod. The devs have said no guns.

I know I can animate weapon attacks but How do I get to the spot where I animate weapon attacks
when I try to move the limbs nothing happens the info thing says that the rotation has changed but it doesn't appear to actually happen.
Sounds like you need to check the "Manual Animation" checkbox as part of the animation. Be sure to uncheck it by the end as well to avoid the character getting stuck. :)

I think this is a great idea. It's on the list of things we want to do but have not had time for. We'll see if we get to it.

I have an idea for a new robot for chapter 5 i call it the tornado bot.
So it has thinks that it can do
